    Pengaruh Supervisi dan Kompetensi Manajerial Kepala Sekolah Terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Guru SMP Negeri 5 Kisaran

    Abstract
    The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence of principal supervision, principal managerial competence, dummy gender, education level, and employment status simultaneously and partially in teachers’ job satisfaction with the strategies that needed in managing the teachers’ job satisfaction. This type of research is associative research. The population in this research is all the teachers in SMP Negeri 5 Kisaran with total are 31 teachers. The result from multiple linier regression analysis indicates that the independent variable, supervision and managerial competence, both simultaneously and partially have positive impact and significant relationship with teachers’ job satisfaction. Based on the result, the dummy variable which are gender, education level, and employment status, are partially not significant on teachers’ job satisfaction. The result showed principal managerial competence has greater influence than principal supervision. Based on the result, principal need to reintroduce the organization structure in SMP Negeri 5 Kisaran and make their own supervision tools to extend the professionalism of teachers at SMP Negeri 5 Kisaran.
     
    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh supervisi kepala sekolah, kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah, jenis kelamin guru, pendidikan guru, dan status kepegawaian secara bersama-sama dan parsial terhadap kepuasan kerja guru serta strategi yang perlu dilakukan untuk mengelola kepuasan kerja guru di SMP Negeri 5 Kisaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian asosiatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua guru SMP Negeri 5 Kisaran yang berjumlah 31 orang. Hasil analisis regresi berganda dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel independen supervisi dan kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah secara bersama-sama dan parsial mempunyai pengaruh positif dan hubungan yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja guru. Variabel dummy jenis kelamin guru, pendidikan guru, dan status kepegawaian guru secara parsial tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel independen kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah memiliki nilai pengaruh lebih besar dari variabel independen supervisi kepala sekolah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, kepala sekolah perlu menampilkan kembali struktur organisasi di SMP Negeri 5 Kisaran dan merancang alat supervisi sendiri demi pengembangan profesionalitas guru SMP Negeri 5 Kisaran.
