The analysis in this study aims to determine the effect of income, comfort, ownership of private vehicles, on the demand for train services in the city of Medan - Binjai obtained as follows.
Based on the results of the analysis in this study shows that based on the chi-square test it can be concluded there is no relationship between the influence of Revenue, Comfort, Ownership of Private Vehicles, to the demand for railroad services in the city of Medan - Binjai. This can be seen from the chi-square value in the three tables that show the significance value of Asymptotic Significance (2- sided)> 0.05.
Based on the results of the cross-tab income it can be concluded that as many as 60 respondents (60%) who have an income of between Rp. 2,000,000 up to Rp 5,000,000 per month in average demand for railroad transportation services 23 times over the past month or equal to 23% of the total. Whereas respondents who earn less than Rp 2,000,000 per month are 30 people with an average demand for railroad services 23 times (23%) and those who have an income of Rp 5,000,000 upwards are as many as 10 respondents ( 10%), with an average demand of 30 times, equal to 33.33%. This means that the level of income has not been a determining factor for consumers to make requests for railroad demand. Analisis pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Pendapatan, kenyamanan, kepemilikan kendaraan pribadi terhadap permintaan Jasa Kereta Api di kota Medan-Binjai diperoleh sebagai berikut.
Berdasarkan hasil analisis dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa berdasarkan uji chi-square dapat disimpulkan tidak dapat berhubungan antara pengaruh pendapatan, kenyamanan, kepemilikan kendaraan pribadi, terhadap permintaan jasa kereta api di kota Medan-Binjai. Hal ini terlihat dari nilai chi-square pada ketiga table yang menunjukan nilai signifikan asymptotic significance (2-sided) .0,05.
Berdasarkan hasil cross-tab pendapatan dapat disimpulkan bahwa 2.000.000 samapai 5.000.000,- perbulan rata-rata permintaan jasa angkutan Kereta Api sebanyak 23 kali selama satu bulan terakhir atau sama dengan 23% dari total keseluruhan . sedangkan responden yang memperoleh pendapatan kurang dari Rp. 2.000.000,-perbulan sebanyak 30 orang dengan rata-rata permintaan jasa angkutan Kereta Api sebanyak 23 kali (23%) dan yang mempunyai penghasilan sebesar Rp. 5.000.000.-ke atas sebanyak 10 responden (10%) dengan rata-rata permintaan sebanyak 30 kali, sama dengan 33,33%. Artinya tingkat pendapatan belum menjadi factor penentu konsumen untuk melekukan permintaan terhadap permintaan jasa kereta api.
