dc.description.abstractNi'mal hamdi BM (187039013) with the title of "Analysis of Purchasing Behavior and Willingness to Pay (Willingness to Pay) Organic Vegetables in Medan City". The writing of this thesis is guided by Dr. Ir. Salmiah, MS as Chairman of the Advisory Committee and Mrs. Sri Fajar Ayu, SP, MM, DBA as a Member of the Advisory Committee. A healthy lifestyle is now internationally institutionalized and requires a guarantee that agricultural products must globally standardized and requires an assurance that farming items must have food safety, high nutritional and eco-labeling attributes. These things maters become motivation for living a healthy lifestyle. The research objective was to determine factors affecting willingness to pay for organic vegetables in Medan City, by using logistic regression analysis which sourced from primary data. The results show that value of Willingness to Pay consumers for organic vegetables (in the modern market of Medan City is higher by 10.40% - 12.89% of the price offered. The highest percentage of WTP increase in organic vegetable product consumers was spinach and the lowest was mustard greens. Income and product price has a significant effect on willingness to pay for organic vegetables. Education level, age, and number of family members do not significantly affect willingness to pay for organic vegetable products.en_US
dc.description.abstractNi’mal hamdi BM (187039013) dengan judul tesis “Analisis Perilaku Pembelian dan Kesediaan Membayar (Willingness to Pay) Sayuran Organik di Kota Medan”. Penulisan tesis ini di bimbing oleh ibu Dr. Ir. Salmiah, MS sebagai Ketua Komisi Pembimbing dan Ibu Sri Fajar Ayu, SP, MM, DBA sebagai Anggota Komisi Pembimbing. Gaya hidup sehat sekarang dilembagakan secara internasional dan membutuhkan jaminan bahwa produk pertanian harus berstandar global dan memerlukan jaminan bahwa barang-barang pertanian harus memiliki keamanan pangan, nutrisi tinggi dan atribut pelabelan ramah lingkungan. Hal-hal inilah yang menjadi motivasi untuk menjalani gaya hidup sehat. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kesediaan membayar sayuran organik di Kota Medan, dengan menggunakan analisis regresi logistik yang bersumber dari data primer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai Willingness to Pay konsumen sayuran organik (di pasar modern Kota Medan lebih tinggi sebesar 10,40% - 12,89% dari harga yang ditawarkan. Persentase kenaikan WTP tertinggi pada konsumen produk sayuran organik adalah bayam dan terendah). Sedangkan pendapatan dan harga produk berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesediaan membayar sayuran organik Tingkat pendidikan, umur, dan jumlah anggota keluarga tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesediaan membayar produk sayuran organik.en_US
