Prototype Sistem Pemberitahuan Keamanan Rumah Menggunakan SMS Gateway Berbasis Mikrokontroler Atmega328

Abstract

Currently the security system is the most important thing in everyday life, individuals and groups often need protection or security in order to protect interests or something that is deemed necessary to be protected. For that we need a tool to anticipate crime when someone leaves the house. Seeing the current condition, it’s necessary to have an additional security system for home owners so that it can reduce theft. This study aims to develop a prototype home security notification system using gateway SMS based Atmega328 microcontroller. The controller used in this security system is the Atmega328 microcontroller. This system uses a Passive Infra Red (PIR) sensor to detect movement and a buzzer sounds when someone enters the house. This security is also equipped with a magnetic sensor switch as a safety for each door. Every movement detected by the Passive Infra Red (PIR) sensor will send a Short Message Service (SMS) notification to the home owner's mobile number.

Saat ini sistem keamanan merupakan hal terpenting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, individu maupun kelompok kerap kali memerlukan perlindungan atau keamanan demi menjaga kepentingan atau suatu hal yang dianggap perlu untuk dijaga. Untuk itu diperlukan sebuah alat untuk mengantisipasi tindak kejahatan saat seseorang meninggalkan rumah. Melihat kondisi yang sedang terjadi perlu adanya sebuah sistem keamanan tambahan bagi pemilik rumah sehingga dapat mengurangi tindakan pencurian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah prototype sistem pemberitahuan keamanan rumah menggunakan SMS Gateway berbasis mikrokontroler atmega328. Pengendali yang digunakan dalam sistem keamanan ini adalah mikrokontroler Atmega328. Sistem ini menggunakan sensor Passive Infra Red (PIR) sebagai pendeteksi adanya pergerakan dan buzzer berbunyi ketika seseorang memasuki rumah. Keamanan ini juga dilengkapi dengan sensor magnetik switch sebagai pengaman pada setiap pintu. Setiap gerakan yang dideteksi oleh sensor Passive Infra Red (PIR) akan mengirim berupa notifikasi Short Message Service (SMS) ke nomor handphone pemilik rumah.
