    Pengaruh Penggunaan Debu Vulkanik Gunung Sinabung Dan Air Laut Terhadap Sifat Mekanik Beton

    Abstract
    Construction concrete based on volcanic ash of Mount Sinabung and sea water has been carried out using the cast in situ method. The method of making this concrete with several variations, namely 0kg, 1.024kg, 2.048kg and 3.072kg with the addition of Mount Sinabung volcanic dust as a substitute for cement with a soaking time of 28 days. This research was conducted to determine the effect of the physical and mechanical properties of concrete with the addition of Mount Sinabung volcanic dust and seawater, which was carried out by comparing the K-225 concrete quality mixture, namely cement and volcanic dust: sand: gravel is 1: 2: 3, and sea water to taste. From the research results obtained compressive strength, namely 282.2 - 168.9 MPa, flexural strength 44 - 26.8 MPa, density 2.492x10-3 - 2.434x10-3 kg / m3, porosity 6.93 - 2.90%, and water absorption 0.2781 - 0.1174%.
     
    Beton konstruksi berbasis debu vulaknik gunung sinabung dan air laut telah dilakukan melalui metode cast in situ. Cara pembuatan beton ini dengan beberapa variasi yaitu 0kg, 1,024kg, 2,048kg dan 3,072kg dengan penambahan debu vulkanik gunung sinabung sebagai bahan pengganti semen dengan waktu perendaman 28 hari. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari sifat fisis dan mekanis beton dengan penambahan debu vulkanik gunung sinabung dan air laut, yang dilakukan dengan perbandingan bahan campuran mutu beton K-225 yaitu semen dan debu vulkanik : pasir : kerikil adalah 1 : 2 : 3, dan air laut secukupnya. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil kuat tekan yaitu 282,2 – 168,9 MPa, kuat lentur 44 – 26,8 MPa, densitas 2,492x10-3 – 2,434x10-3 kg/m3, porositas 6,93 – 2,90 %, dan penyerapan air 0,2781 – 0,1174%.
