Alih Kode pada Film The Great Wall Karya Zhang Yimou

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Analaisis Alih Kode pada Film ‘The Great Wall’ Karya Zhang Yimou《张艺谋《长城》电影的语码转换》(zhāngyìmóu 《chángchéng》diànyǐng de yǔ mǎ zhuǎnhuàn)”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mendeskripsikan bentuk alih kode pada Film The Great Wall karya Zhang Yimou, dan (2) Menjelaskan faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya alih kode pada Film The Great Wall karya Zhang Yimou. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori sosiolinguistik oleh Suwito dan Fishman. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Data penelitian ini bentuk alih kode berupa dialog dalam bentuk klausa dan kalimat pada film The Great Wall. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam menganalisis dan membahas masalah penelitian ini menggunakan teknik simak dan teknik catat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan (1) Bentuk alih kode yang ditemukan terdapat dua bentuk alih kode yaitu alih kode ekstern dari bahasa Inggris ke bahasa Mandarin dan bentuk alih kode ekstern dari bahasa Mandarin ke bahasa Inggris. Data yang diperoleh berdasarkan bentuk alih kode ada 10 (sepuluh) data yaitu tujuh data bentuk alih kode ekstern dari bahasa Inggris ke bahasa Mandarin dan tiga data bentuk alih kode dari bahasa Mandarin ke bahasa Inggris, (2) Faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya alih koe pada film The Great Wall ada tiga yaitu (a) Pembicara atau penutur, (b) Pendengar atau lawan tutur, dan (c) Perubahasan situasi dengan hadirnya orang ketiga. Jumlah data untuk faktor pembicara atau penutur terdapat satu data, faktor pendengar atau lawan tutur terdapat tujuh data, sedangkan faktor perubahasan situasi dengan hadirnya orang ketiga terdapat dua data.

The title of this research is "Analysis of Code Switching on the film 'The Great Wall' by Zhang Yimou 《张艺谋《长城》 电影 的 语 码 转换》 (zhāngyìmóu 《chángchéng》diànyǐng de yǔ mǎ zhuǎnhuàn)". This study aims to describe the form of code switching in the film „The Great Wall‟ by Zhang Yimou, and to explain the factors that cause code switching in the film „The Great Wall‟ by Zhang Yimou. The theory used in this research is the sociolinguistic theory by Suwito and Fishman. The method used in this research is a qualitative method. The data of code switching in this research is the actor‟s dialogue in the form of clauses and sentences. The data collection techniques used in discussing and solving the problem of this research used observation and note-taking techniques. The results of this research indicate: (1) There are two forms of code switching in the film „The Great Wall‟, that is external code switching from English to Chinese and external code switching from Chinese to English. There are 10 data code switching form obtained in this research, it is seven data on the form of external code switching from English to Chinese and three data on the form of code switching from Chinese to English, (2) Factors that cause the occurrence of code switching in the film „The Great Walls‟ is speakers, listener, and changes in situation with the presence of a third person. The speaker factor has one data, the listener factor or the interlocutor is seven data, while the situation change factor in the presence of a third person has two data.
