Untuk mengatasi kebutuhan dan mewujudkan swasembada daging sapi, salah
satu cara yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan melaksanakan integrasi peternakan
sapi potong pada perkebunan kelapa sawit. Untuk itu telah dilakukan kegiatan
penelitian dengan tujuan mengidentifikasi, mengevaluasi, dan mendesain dan
merumuskan model integrasi berkelanjutan peternakan sapi potong pada
perkebunan kelapa sawit. Penelitian telah dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif dan
evaluatif. Pertama-tama dilakukan kajian model-model integrasi yang telah
dilakukan di Indonesia. Selanjutnya dievaluasi berdasarkan aspek ekonomi, aspek
lingkungan alam, dan aspek sosial menggunakan metode pembobotan. Untuk
mendesain dan merumuskan model integrasi berkelanjutan dilakukan dengan
metode analisis diagram sebab akibat dan metode proses hirarki analitik.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan sebagai berikut. Terdapat enam model
integrasi peternakan sapi potong pada perkebunan kelapa sawit di Indonesia, yaitu:
Model Integrasi Ekstensif Rakyat, Model Integrasi Ekstensif Skala Perusahaan,
Model Integrasi Semi Intensif Rakyat, Model Integrasi Semi Intensif Rakyat
Energi, Model Integrasi Intensif Rakyat, dan Model Integrasi Intensif Rakyat
Energi. Berdasarkan evaluasi pada aspek ekonomi, model integrasi yang paling
unggul adalah Model Integrasi Ekstensif Rakyat. Berdasarkan pada aspek
lingkungan alam adalah Model Integrasi Intensif Rakyat Energi. Dan berdasarkan
pada aspek sosial adalah Model Integrasi Intensif Rakyat Energi. Model integrasi
berkelanjutan peternakan sapi potong pada perkebunan kelapa sawit untuk satu
afdeling berdasarkan sistem integrasinya adalah sebagai berikut. Model Integrasi
Ekstensif Rakyat Modifikasi pada sistem integrasi ekstensif, Model Integrasi Semi
Intensif Rakyat Energi Modifikasi pada sistem integrasi semi intensif, dan Model
Integrasi Intensif Rakyat Energi pada sistem integrasi intensif. To address the need and achieve beef self-sufficiency, one way that can be done
is to integrate beef cattle farming into oil palm plantations. For this reason, research
activities have been carried out with the aim of identifying, evaluating, and
designing and formulating a sustainable integration model for beef cattle farming
in oil palm plantations. Research has been carried out using descriptive and
evaluative methods. First of all, a study of the integration models that have been
carried out in Indonesia is conducted. Furthermore, it is evaluated based on
economic aspects, natural environmental aspects, and social aspects using a
weighting method. To design and formulate a sustainable integration model, a
causal diagram analysis method and an analytic hierarchical process method are
used. Based on the results of this study it is concluded as follows. There are six
models of integration of beef cattle livestock in oil palm plantations in Indonesia,
namely: the Farmer's Extensive Integration Model, the Enterprise-Scale Extensive
Integration Model, the Farmer's Semi-Intensive Integration Model, the Energy
Farmer's Semi-Intensive Integration Model, the Farmer’s Intensive Integration
Model, and the Energy Famer’s Intensive Integration Model. Based on the
evaluation on the economic aspect, the most superior integration model is the
Farmer's Extensive Integration Model. Based on the aspect of the natural
environment is the Farmer’s Energy Intensive Integration Model. And based on the
social aspect is the Farmer’s Energy Intensive Integration Model. The sustainable
integration model of beef cattle livestock on oil palm plantations for one afdeling
based on the integration system is as follows. The Modified Farmer's Extensive
Integration Model in the extensive integration system, the Modified Energy
Farmer's Semi-Intensive Integration Model in the semi-intensive integration
system, and the Energy Farmer’s Intensive Integration Model in the intensive
integration system.
