dc.description.abstract | Penelitian tentang Pengaruh fraksi volume serat pelepah daun pinang-epoksi terhadap sifat komposit telah dilakukan sebagai bahan alternatif material komposit. Papan komposit ini dibuat dengan fraksi volume 2%,4%,6%, dan 8%, masing-masing ditambahkan Epoksi dan Hardener 1 : 1 kemudian diaduk merata. Lalu dituangkan pada cetakan dan dipress selama 20 menit dengan suhu Berdasarkan analisis pengujian sifat fisis dan sifat mekanik papan komposit serat pelepah daun pinang, pengujian densitas menghasilkan nilai yaitu 1,09 gr/ telah memenuhi standar mutu JIS A 5905 : 2003 yang mensyaratkan nilai densitas papan serat yaitu: 0,35 gr/cm3 sampai dengan 1,3 gr/cm3. Porositas menghasilkan nilai 2,02% telah memenuhi standar mutu dari SNI 03-2105 2006 yaitu memiliki nilai porositas <25%. Daya serap air menghasilkan nilai 1,8%, telah memenuhi standar mutu JIS A 5950 : 2003 dan SNI 03-2105-2006 nilai daya serap air papan serat maksimum 25%. Kuat lentur bernilai 28,621 kgf – 39,604 kgf, telah memenuhi standar mutu JIS A5905 : 2003 yaitu kuat lentur > 32 Mpa atau 3,26 kgf. Kuat Tarik bernilai 14,292 Mpa - 19,275 MPa, telah memenuhi standar mutu JIS A5905 : 2003. Papan Serat mensyaratkan kuat tarik lebih besar dari 0,4 MPa dan kuat Impak 94,44 J/mm2- 97,71 J/mm2 telah memenuhi standar mutu ABS high impact sebesar 13,48 J/m2. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | Research on the effect of the volume fraction of areca-epoxy leaf midrib fiber on the properties of composites has been carried out as an alternative material for composite materials. This composite board was made with a volume fraction of 2%, 4%, 6%, and 8%, respectively added with Epoxy and Hardener 1:1 then stirred evenly. Then poured on the mold and pressed for 20 minutes at a temperature of 90 . Based on the analysis of the physical and mechanical properties of the betel leaf midrib composite board, the density test results in a value of 1,09 gr / cm3 which meets the quality standard of JIS A 5905:2003 which requires density values fiberboard, namely: 0.35 gr / cm3 to 1.3 gr / cm3. Porosity produces a value of 2,02 %, has met the quality standards of SNI 03-2105 2006, which has a porosity value <25%. The water absorption value of 1,8 % has met the quality standards of JIS A 5950:2003 and SNI 03-2105-2006, the maximum water absorption value of fiberboard is 25%. Bending strength has a value of 28.621 kgf - 39.604 kgf, has met the standard quality standards of JIS A5905:2003, namely flexural strength> 32 MPa or 3.26 kgf. Tensile strength of 14,292 Mpa - 19,275 MPa, has met the quality standard of JIS A5905: 2003.
