The Effect of Mass Addition of Sisal Fiber on Physical and Mechanical Properties of Sisal-Epoxy Fiber Composite method have been carried out as an alternative material The manufacture and characterization of the physical and mechanical properties of sisal for composite materials. Sisal fibers taken from Sumber Agung Village, Panggung Rejo District, Blitar Regency, East Java. This study aims to determine the effect of the addition of sisal fiber on the physical and mechanical properties of the composite. To find data on the physical and mechanical properties of the composite board, sisal fiber as a filler will vary the fiber mass composition, namely 0, 2gr, 4gr, 6gr, 8gr. Physical properties consist of density, water absorption, porosity and various mechanical tests carried out on each sample. The test results of the physical and mechanical properties of sisal fiber composites yield the optimum density value of 1.064 gr / cm3- 1.335 gr / cm3, water absorption capacity of 1.59% - 2.62%, porosity 1.7% - 3.5%, flexural strength of 54.542 MPa – 86,412 MPa, impact strength 29.92 KJ/ m2 – 98.32 KJ/m2, and tensile strength 1.98352 Mpa - 12.368 MPa. The results showed that the physical and mechanical properties that 0000000meet the JIS A 5905: 2003 Standard were flexural strength> 32 MPa, density 0.3-1.3 gr / cm3 and water content <25%. Sisal fiber composite with epoxy resin can be applied to car bumpers. Pengaruh Penambahan Massa Serat Sisal Terhadap Sifat Fisis dan Sifat Mekanik Pada Komposit Serat Sisal-Epoksi telah dilakukan sebagai bahan alternatif material komposit. Serat sisal yang diambil dari Desa Sumber Agung Kecamatan Panggung Rejo Kabupaten Blitar, Jawa Timur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan serat sisal terhadap sifat fisis dan mekanis dari komposit.Untuk mencari data sifat fisis dan mekanik dari papan komposit,serat sisal sebagai filler akan divariasikan komposisi massa serat yaitu sebesar 0, 2gr, 4gr, 6gr,8gr. Sifat fisis terdiri atas densitas, penyerapan air, porositasdan berbagai tes mekanis dilakukan pada setiap sampel. Hasil pengujian sifat fisis dan mekanik komposit serat sisal mengnghasilkan nilai optimum densitas 1,064 gr/cm3- 1,335 gr/cm3, daya serap air 1,59% - 2,62%, porositas 1,7% - 3,5%, kuat lentur 54,542 MPa – 86,412 MPa, kuat impak 29,92 KJ/m2 – 98,32 KJ/m2, dan kuat tarik 1,98352 Mpa – 12,368 MPa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sifat fisis dan mekanik yang memenuhi Standart JIS A 5905 : 2003 yaitu kuat lentur >32 MPa, densitas 0,3-1,3 gr/cm3 dan kadar air < 25%. Komposit serat sisal dengan resin epoksi dapat diaplikasikan menjadi bumper mobil.
