Ekranisasi Novel “Deng Yi Ge Ren Kafei” Karya Giddens Ko Ke Bentuk Film “Deng YI Ge Ren Kafei” Karya Jiang Jin Lin

Abstract

This research is entitled Ekranisasi Novel Děng Yīgè Rén Kāfēi by Giddens Ko Into the Film Děng Yīgè Rén Kāfēi by Jiang Jin Lin. This study aims to describe the process of extracting the plot, setting and character in the form of the various categories of shrinkage, additions and changes contained in the novel to the film Děng Yīgè Rén Kāfē. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data sources of this research are the novel Děng Yīgè Rén Kāfēi by Giddens Ko and the film Děng Yīgè Rén Kāfēi by Jiang Jin Lin. Data obtained by reading, watching, analyzing and taking notes. The focus of this research is the process of ekranisasi path, setting and characters. Based on the research results, it shows that the process of ecranization of the novel Děng Yīgè Rén Kāfēi by Giddens Ko to the film Děng Yīgè Rén Kāfēi by Jiang Jin Lin led to various changes in the aspects of contraction, additions and varied changes related to plot, setting and character elements. The process of shrinking the plot in the scene when Albus was concocting coffee, A Tuo, who came to the cafe with his friends, A Tuo and Li Si Ying to the cinema as well as several other events experienced a process of shrinking. The addition of scenes to scenes in the kitchen where Li Si Ying is learning to cook, at the seafood restaurant where A Tuo works and in an alley where A Tuo and Li Si Ying are attacked by a gang of gangsters have all added settings. And changes in the various characters that show the portrayal of A Tuo and Albus characters have changed. Thus, it can be concluded that the story in the film as a whole is still relevant to the story in the novel, it's just that there are several scenes that are visualized to make the film feel interesting.

Penelitian ini berjudul Ekranisasi Novel Děng Yīgè Rén Kāfēi karya Giddens Ko Ke Dalam Film Děng Yīgè Rén Kāfēi Karya Jiang Jin Lin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses ekranisasi alur, latar dan tokoh dalam bentuk kategori penciutan, penambahan, dan perubahan bervariasi yang terdapat dalam novel ke film Děng Yīgè Rén Kāfē. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah novel Děng Yīgè Rén Kāfēi karya Giddens Ko dan film Děng Yīgè Rén Kāfēi karya Jiang Jin Lin. Data diperoleh dengan teknik membaca, menonton, menganalisis dan mencatat. Fokus penelitian ini adalah proses ekranisasi alur, latar dan tokoh. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukaan bahwa proses ekranisasi novel Děng Yīgè Rén Kāfēi karya Giddens Ko ke film Děng Yīgè Rén Kāfēi karya Jiang Jin Lin menimbulkan berbagai perubahan pada aspek penciutan, penambahan dan perubahan bervariasi yang menyangkut pada unsur alur, latar dan tokoh. Proses penciutan alur pada adegan saat Albus meracik kopi, A Tuo yang datang ke kafe bersama teman-temannya, A Tuo dan Li si ying ke bioskop maupun beberapa peristiwa lainnya mengalami proses penciutan alur. Penambahan latar pada adegan di dapur saat Li Si Ying belajar memasak, di restoran seafood tempat A Tuo bekerja dan di sebuah gang saat A Tuo dan Li Si Ying diserang kelompok Gangster telah mengalami penambahan latar. Dan perubahan bervariasi tokoh yang menunjukan penggambaran Tokoh A Tuo dan Albus telah mengalami perubahan. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa cerita dalam film secara keseluruhan masih relevan dengan cerita yang ada didalam novel, hanya saja terdapat beberapa adegan yang divisualisasikan membuat film terasa menarik.
