Integrasi Harga Cpo (Crude Palm Oil) di Pasar International dengan Harga Tbs (Tandan Buah Segar) Provinsi Sumatera Utara

Abstract

Oil palm is a commodity that is competitive in the international market. Oil palm price fluctuations in North Sumatra Province are largely determined by changes that occur in world markets, especially CPO prices in export destination markets. The movement of the CPO price in the (international) export destination country against the export price of Indonesian CPO with the stipulated price of North Sumatra Province FFB must be known so that it is transmitted perfectly. The purpose of this study was to identify the elasticity of international CPO price transmission to the FFB price of North Sumatra Province and to explain the integration of CPO prices in the international market with the FFB prices of North Sumatra Province. The method of analysis in this study are Linear Regression and ECM regression (Error Correction Model). The data used are secondary data from 2017-2020 in the form of monthly data so that 48 observations were obtained. The results showed that the transmission elasticity of International CPO prices to the FFB prices of North Sumatra Province was elastic.. International CPO prices with FFB prices of North Sumatra Province are integrated both in the long and short term.

Kelapa sawit adalah salah satu komoditas yang memiliki daya saing di pasar internasional. Fluktuasi harga kelapa sawit di Provinsi Sumatera Utara sangat ditentukan oleh perubahan yang terjadi di pasar dunia terutama harga CPO di pasar tujuan ekspor. Pergerakan harga CPO di negara tujuan ekspor (internasional) terhadap harga ekspor CPO Indonesia dengan harga penetapan TBS Provinsi Sumatera Utara harus diketahui agar ditransmisikan dengan sempurna. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi elastisitas transmisi harga CPO Internasional terhadap harga TBS Provinsi Sumatera Utara dan untuk menjelaskan integrasi harga CPO di pasar Internasional dengan harga TBS Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Metode analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linear dan regresi ECM (Error Correction Model). Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder pada tahun 2017-2020 berupa data bulanan sehingga diperoleh data sebanyak 48 pengamatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Elastisitas transmisi harga CPO Internasional terhadap harga TBS Provinsi Sumatera Utara bersifat elastis. Harga CPO Internasional dengan harga TBS Provinsi Sumatera Utara terintegrasi baik dalam jangka panjang maupun jangka pendek.
