Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Pertumbuhan Sektor Pertanian di Provinsi Sumatera Utara

Abstract

Marito Hasibuan (187039007) dengan judul tesis “Analisis Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Pertumbuhan Sektor Pertanian di Provinsi Sumatera Utara”. Sektor pertanian merupakan salah satu sektor penunjang perekonomian di Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Pada tahun 2018 sektor pertanian (tanaman pangan, perkebunan, kehutanan, peternakan, dan perikanan) merupakan sektor yang memberikan kontribusi nilai tambah terbesar pada Produk Domestik Regional Bruto Provinsi Sumatera Utara, yaitu 21,4 persen, disusul sektor manufaktur sebesar 20,29 persen. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan penelitian terhadap faktor-faktor tersebut yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan sektor pertanian di Sumatera Utara dan besaran kontribusi sektor pertanian terhadap Produk Domestik Regional Bruto Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder dari Badan Pusat Statistik Provinsi Sumatera Utara sejak 1985-2018. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan aplikasi Eviews-10. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel luas lahan (X2) dan ekspor (X3) secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan sektor pertanian dengan masing-masing nilai probabilitas sebesar 0,0178 dan 0,0004. Secara parsial, tenaga kerja (X1), impor (X4) dan investasi (X5) tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan sektor pertanian dengan masing-masing nilai probabilitas statistiknya sebesar 0,8148, 0,1892 dan 0,0661. Kontribusi sektor pertanian terhadap Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) Provinsi Sumatera Utara selama 34 tahun diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 27, 29%

In 2018, the agricultural sector (food crops, plantations, forestry, livestock and fisheries) was the sector that contributed the largest added value to the Gross Regional Domestic Product of North Sumatra Province, namely 21.4 percent, followed by the manufacturing sector by 20.29 percent. Therefore it is necessary to conduct research on these factors that affect the growth of the agricultural sector in North Sumatra and the contribution of the agricultural sector to the Gross Regional Domestic Product of North Sumatra Province. Data used are secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency of North Sumatra Province from 1985-2018. The analytical method used was multiple linear regression using the Eviews-10 application. The results of this paper indicate variable land area (X2) and exports (X3) together have a significant effect on the growth of agricultural sector with probability values of 0.0178 and 0.0004, respectively. Partially, labor (X1), imports (X4) and investment (X5) have no significant effect on the growth of agricultural sector with each statistical probability value of 0.8148, 0.1892 and 0.0661. The contribution of the agricultural sector to the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of North Sumatra Province for 34 years was obtained an average of 27.29%
