    Pengaruh Motivasi dan Kepuasan Kerja Terhadap Komitmen Karyawan (The Influence Of Work Motivation And Job Satisfaction Toward Employee Commitment)

    Abstract
    This study aimed to determine the influence of work motivation and job satisfaction toward employee commitment to the organization. Measuring instruments used in this study is the scale of employee commitment which is an adaptation of the commitment scale development Steers & Porter (1983), work motivation scale developed by Kreitner & Kinicki (1996) and job satisfaction scale proposed by Luthans (2005). This study involves all employees of PT. Bank Danamon Indonesia Medan regional offices totaling 214 people, but the return of the questionnaire only 85 respondents who returns to the researcher. The results of data processing using multiple regression analysis showed that work motivation and job satisfaction positively influenced toward the employees commitment with the calculated value of R = 0.745(a), R2 = 0.555, F = 51.171 with a probability value (Sig.) = 0.000 or p <0.05. The implications of research expected that the management can maintain the motivation of employees according to company policy, pay attention to supporting aspects of job satisfaction in order to improve employee satisfaction and provide welfare for the commitment of employees to the company.
     
    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi kerja dan kepuasan kerja terhadap komitmen karyawan pada organisasi. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala komitmen karyawan yang merupakan adaptasi dari pengembangan skala komitmen Steers & Porter (1983), skala motivasi kerja yang dikembangkan oleh Kreitner & Kinicki (1996) dan skala kepuasan kerja yang dikemukakan oleh Luthans (2005). Penelitian ini melibatkan seluruh karyawan PT. Bank Danamon Indonesia kantor wilayah Medan yang berjumlah 214 orang, namun dalam pengembalian kuesioner hanya 85 orang responden yang mengembalikan kepada peneliti. Hasil pengolahan data dengan menggunakan metode Analisa Regresi Berganda menunjukkan bahwa motivasi kerja dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh kuat dan positif terhadap komitmen karyawan dengan nilai hitung R = 0,745(a), R2 = 0,555, F = 51,171 dengan nilai probabilitas (Sig.) = 0,000 atau p<0,05. Implikasi dari penelitian diharapkan pihak manajemen dapat terus memotivasi karyawan sesuai kebijakan perusahaan, memperhatikan aspekaspek pendukung kepuasan kerja demi peningkatan kepuasan kerja karyawan dan memberikan kesejahteraan atas komitmen karyawan terhadap perusahaan.
