dc.description.abstractThe research for isolation and analysis chemical component essential oil of temulawak (Curcuma xanthoriza Roxb) with GC-MS and anti bacteria activity test by Cork Borer method was conducted. The purposes of this research are to know chemical component essential oil of temulawak (Curcuma xanthoriza Roxb) with GC-MS and anti bacteria activity. The treatment done was isolate the essential oil of the temulawak trought steam distillation and then it is chemical components were analyzed throught Mass Spectrometry – Gas Cromotography. The result of gas Cromatography showed 30 apeas meaning that the essential oil of temulawak contained 30 chemical components. The result of Mass Spectrometry only showed 22 out of the 30 chemical components analyzed (identified). The 22 chemical components of essential oil were : α-pinene (0,68%), Campen (1,60%), sabinen (0,51%), Mircen (0,67%), α-Pilandren (0,48%) ,δ-4- Carin (0,67%), 1,8 Cineole (14,64%), terpinolen (11,29%), Kamper (7,21%), borneol (0,75%), Terpineol (0,70%), ρ-Cimen(0,22%), α-Terpineol (0,78%), Piperitenon(2,20%), β-Elemen(1,38%), Zingiberen (4,55%), Caryopilen (1,45%), γ-Elemen (3,43%), β-Farnesene (0,30%), Ar-Curcumin (0,92%), Furanodiena (5,88%), dan β-Sesquiplilendren(4,46%). Also the activity test has been done and result show that for some bacteria namely Shigella sp (2,4 ; 4,4 ), S.aureus ( 1,6 ; 1,8 ), S,thyphii 1,2 ; 1,4 ) dan E.coli (1,0 ; 0,8 ).en_US
dc.description.abstractPenelitian tentang isolasi dan analisis kimia minyak atsiri serta uji aktivitas mikroba dengan metode Cork Borer dari temulawak (Curcuma xanthoriza Roxb ) telah dilakukan. terhadap beberapa bakteri. Perlakuan yang diperlakukan yaitu mengisolasi minyak atrisi umbi temulawak dengan destilasi stahl dan dianlisis komponen kimianya dengan Kromotografi Gas Spektrometri Massa. Hasil Kromatografi Gas menunjukkan adanya 30 puncak yang berarti terdapat 30 komponen kimia dalam minyak atsiri umbi temulawak. Dengan Spektrometri Massa hanya 22 komponen dari 30 komponen yang dianalisis (identifikasi) berdasarkan data spektrum yang ada. Berikut ini 22 komponen kimia minyak atsiri yang terkandung dalam umbi temulawak yaitu : α-pinen (0,68%), Kampen (1,60%), sabinen (0,51%), Mirsen (0,67%), α-Pilandren (0,48%) ,δ-4- Carin (0,67%), 1,8 Sineol (14,64%), terpinolen (11,29%), Kamfor (7,21%), borneol (0,75%), Terpineol (0,70%), ρ-Simen(0,22%), α-Terpineol (0,78%), Piperitenon(2,20%), β-Elemen(1,38%), Zingiberen (4,55%), Cariopilen (1,45%), γ-Elemen (3,43%), β-Farnesen (0,30%), Ar-Curcumin (0,92%), Furanodiena (5,88%), dan β-Seskuifelandren(4,46%). Minyak atsiri dari temulawak telah di uji aktifitasnya terhadap bakteri Shigella sp (2,4 ; 4,4 ), S.aureus ( 1,6 ; 1,8 ), S,thyphii 1,2 ; 1,4 ) dan E.coli (1,0 ; 0,8 ).en_US
