dc.description.abstractAmination reaction of glycerol with NH3 had been made in a autoclave by using Nickel powder metal as a catalyst at 1800C for 15 hours. To Increase the compression of reaction, hydrogen gas was put into the reaction mixtured by using ratio of NH3 : H2 in succession which was i) 50 : 100 psi, ii) 75 : 150 psi, iii) 100 : 175 psi. Then into the mixture of reaction put in palmitic acid to separating glycerol from the product. Based on the data of gas chromatography, FT-IR,and 1H-NMR spectroscopy, the product had been occurred from the reaction above was 1,3-diamino-2-hydroxy propane.en_US
dc.description.abstractReaksi aminasi terhadap gliserol dengan menggunakan NH3 telah dilakukan dalam autoclave menggunakan katalis Nikel pada suhu 1800C selama 15 jam. Untuk menaikkan tekanan reaksi, kedalam campuran reaksi dimasukkan gas hidrogen dengan perbandingan NH3 : H2 berturut turut adalah i) 50 : 100 psi, ii) 75 : 150 psi, iii) 100 : 175 psi. Untuk memisahkan produk dari gliserol, kedalam campuran reaksi dimasukkan asam palmitat. Berdasarkan data kromatografi gas , Spektroskopi FT-IR, dan 1H-NMR produk yang terjadi dari reaksi diatas adalah 1,3 diamino-2-hidroksi propanaen_US
