dc.description.abstract | The results of the root essential oil isolation Blumea balsamifera DC is done by water distillation (hidrodestilasi) obtained volatile oil content of 0.17% (v / w). Analysis hemical components essential oils roots of roots Sembung using a combined method of Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS), shows that the roots of Blumea balsamifera DC oils have chemical components 21 to 14 major components (content above 1%) are: Propane, 2-Ethoxy; 1,3,6-Octatriene, 3,7Dimethyl (ocimena); Thujopsen-13; Thymohydroquinone Dimethyl Ether; 2-Allyl-1 ,4Dimethoxy-3-Methyl-Benzene; Thymol; Neryl acetate; 1,5-Dimethyl-1-vinyl-4Hexenyl-3-Methil Butanoate; Geranyl Pentanoate; 5-Oxatricyclo [8.2.0.0 (4,6)] Dodecane, 1,2-trimethyl-9-methylene and Tridecane. Based on the results of antimicrobial testing against 4 types of microbes, gave a positive result in Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Salmonella typhi and Candida albicans. And antioxidants with DPPH test showed that the essential oil from the roots of Blumea balsamifera DC has a good percent antioxidant activity (12,1 ppm), so it can be used as a source of natural antioxidants. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | Hasil isolasi minyak atsiri akar Blumea balsamifera DC ini dilakukan dengan cara destilasi air (hidrodestilasi) didapat kadar minyak atsiri 0,17% (v/b). Analisis komponen kimia minyak atsiri akar Blumea balsamifera DC menggunakan metoda gabungan Kromatografi Gas dan Spektrometri Massa (GC-MS), memperlihatkan bahwa minyak akar Blumea balsamifera DC memiliki 21 komponen kimia dengan 14 komponen utama (kandungan diatas 1%) yaitu : Propane, 2-Ethoxy ; 1,3,6-Octatriene, 3,7-Dimethyl (ocimena); Thujopsen-13; Thymohydroquinone Dimethyl Ether; 2-Allyl1,4-Dimethoxy-3-Methyl-Benzene; Thymol; Neryl Acetat; 1,5-Dimethyl-1-Vinil-4Hexenyl-3-Methil Butanoate; Geranyl Pentanoate; 5-Oxatricyclo [8.2.0.0(4,6)] Dodecane, 1,2-trimethyl-9-Methylene dan Tridecane. Berdasarkan hasil uji antimikroba terhadap 4 jenis mikroba, memberikan hasil yang positif pada Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli , Salmonella typhi dan Candida Albicans. Dan Uji antioksidan dengan metode DPPH menunjukkan bahwa minyak atsiri dari akar Blumea balsamifera DC memiliki persen aktivitas antioksidan yang baik (12,1 ppm) , sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu sumber antioksidan alami. | en_US |
