dc.description.abstractHadfield steel was subjected to solution treatment by heating at temperature of 1000-1200 oC and then water quenched. The investigation for the development of microstructure in a re-heattreatment by heating at temperature 450 oC at holding time 15, 30, 45 and 60 minutes. Bainitic phase and pearlitic phase which formed in heat treatment of hadfield steel. The ferrite accicular phase which formed both in grain boundary or grain of the austenit phase should be growth to be presipitated in austenit phase. The attendance of all phase which should be distribute as simulated can be designed by the area different coloured in Image Analyzeir Program. Using some methods are Intercept Heyn, Snyder-Graff and Planimetric (Jeffries) shown likely to ASTM standard, and Jeffries method is the best.en_US
dc.description.abstractTelah dilakukan penelitian terhadap baja Hadfield dengan proses pemanasan pada temperatur 1000-1200 oC yang kemudian didinginkan dengan cepat (water quenching). Perkembangan mikro struktur didiukur setelah pemanasan kembali pada temperatur 450 oC dengan waktu tahan 15, 30, 45 dan 60 menit. Fasa bainit dan fasa pearlit terbentuk pada baja mangan Hadfield. Ferrit accicular yang terbentuk berada di batas butir maupun di batas butir fasa austenit dimana butir fasa austenit akan semakin tumbuh dan mengendap di batas butir. Fasa-fasa austenit, ferrit maupun lainnya dapat terdistribusi secara simulasi melalui luas perubahan warna dengan menggunakan program Image Analyzer. Penggunaan metode penghitungan (counting method) yaitu metode Intercept Heyn, metode Snyder-Graff dan metode Planimetric (Jeffries) menunjukkan kesesuaian dengan nilai standar ASTM, dengan metode Jeffries sebagai metode yang paling sesuai.en_US
