    Konsep Pengelolaan Kualitas Air Sungai Bedagai Berdasarkan Indikator Biologis Makroinvertebrata Air

    Abstract
    ìThe Water Quality Management Concept of Badagai River Based on Biological Indicators of Water Macro invertebratesî has been studied. Macro invertebrates were collected of five stations for three times and taken using surber net and van veen grab. Samples were identified in laboratory of Kantor Lingkungan Hidup, Serdang Bedagai District. The result of analysis showed that there are 34 genera of macro invertebrates within 3 phylum (Arthropoda, Annelida and Molusca). Quoyia decollate has the highest population density with 105.00 individu/cm2 that found at station 4. Orectochilus sp and Hiptogenia sp has the lowest density population with 0.11 individu/cm2 . The highest Index of Diversity (Hí) was found at station 1 with 2.293, and the loswest at stations with 0.730. The anlysis of correlation with Person test showed that the content of organic substrates has strong corelation to diversity of makroinvertebrates.
     
    Penelitian tentang ìKonsep Pengelolaan Kualitas Air Sungai Bedagai Berdasarkan Indikator Biologis Makroinvertebrata Airî telah dilakukan pada bulan April 2011. Sampel diambil dari lima stasiun pengamatan, di mana pada setiap stasiun dilakukan tiga kali ulangan. Titik pengambilan sampel ditentukan dengan metode Purposive Random Sampling. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan surber net dan van veen grab kemudian sampel diidentifikasi di laboratorium Kantor Lingkungan Hidup Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan sebanyak 34 genera makroinvertebrata yang terdiri dari 3 phylum yaitu Arthropoda, Annelida dan Molusca. Nilai kepadatan tertinggi terdapat pada genus Quoyia decollate sebesar 105,00 individu/900 cm2 pada stasiun 4 dan nilai kepadatan populasi terendah genus Orectochilus sp dan Hiptogenia sp sebesar 0.11 individu/900 cm2 . Indeks keanekaragaman makroinvertebrata tertinggi terdapat pada stasiun 1 sebesar 2,293 dan terendah pada stasiun 5 sebesar 0,730. Hasil korelasi dengan uji Person menunjukkan bahwa kandungan organik substrat berkorelasi kuat dengan indeks keanekaragaman (Hí) makroinvertebrata.
