    Pengaruh Pemberian Tocopherol terhadap Kadar Testosteron, Jumlah Sperma dan Berat Testis Mencit Jantan Dewasa ( Mus musculus L.) yang Mendapat Latihan Fisik Maksimal

    Abstract
    One of the effect maximum physical exercise formation of free radicals. Free radicals are an atom or molecule that has no pairs of electrons and can damage the molecules essential for cellular function. In conditions of oxidative stress, free radicals will cause lipid peroxidation of cell membranes and damage the cell membrane organization. As the destruction of Leydig cells in the testes, causing the resulting lack of the hormone testosterone and cause disruption of spermatogenesis. The purpose of this study was to find out how the effect of tocopherols on testicular function due to oxidative stress generated from maximum exercise in adult male mice (Mus musculus L.). Research using mice (Mus musculus L.) males who were divided into 5 groups, each group consisted of 5 repetitions, P0: Mice given no treatment (control group), P1: Mice were treated maximum physical exercise for 35 days, P2: Mice were given maximum physical exercise treatment aquades plus 0.5 ml for 35 days, P3: Mice were treated maximum physical exercise for 20 days and then given vitamin E 2mg and maximum physical exercise, P4: Mice were treated maximum physical exercise and Vitamin E 2 mg for 35 days. At the end of treatment according towith the group, by checking on the content of testosterone ,testis weight and sperm counts of mice . The results of this study indicate tocopherol increases testosterone levels and sperm counts of adult male mice who received the maximum physical exercise significantly (p<0.05). Tocopherol increased adult testis weight of male mice that received the maximum physical exercise, but no significant (p>0.05). For further research needs to be additional doses of vitamin E and long delivery.
     
    Salah satu efek dari latihan fisik maksimal terbentuknya radikal bebas. Radikal bebas merupakan suatu atom atau molekul yang tidak mempunyai pasangan elektron dan dapat merusak molekul-molekul penting bagi fungsi seluler. Pada kondisi stress oksidatif, radikal bebas akan menyebabkan terjadinya peroksidasi lipid membran sel dan merusak organisasi membran sel. Seperti rusaknya sel-sel Leydig dalam testis sehingga menyebabkan kurangnya hormon testosteron yang dihasilkan dan menyebabkan gangguan spermatogenesis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh pemberian tocopherol terhadap fungsi testis akibat stres oksidatif yang ditimbulkan dari latihan fisik maksimal pada mencit jantan dewasa (Mus musculus L.). Penelitan menggunakan mencit (Mus musculus L.) jantan yang dibagi dalam 5 kelompok, tiap kelompok terdiri dari 5 ekor, P0: Mencit tidak diberi perlakuan (kelompok Kontrol), P1: Mencit diberi perlakuan Latihan Fisik Maksimal selama 35 hari, P2: Mencit diberi perlakuan Latihan Fisik Maksimal ditambah aquades 0,5 ml selama 35 hari, P3: Mencit diberi perlakuan Latihan Fisik Maksimal selama 20 hari lalu diberikan vitamin E 2mg dan Latihan Fisik Maksimal, P4: Mencit diberi perlakuan Latihan Fisik Maksimal dan Vitamin E 2 mg selama 35 hari. Pada akhir perlakuan sesuai dengan kelompok, dilakukan pemeriksaan terhadap kandungan testosteron, berat testis dan jumlah sperma mencit. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan tocopherol meningkatkan kadar testosteron dan jumlah sperma mencit jantan dewasa yang mendapatkan latihan fisik maksimal secara nyata (p<0,05). Tocopherol meningkatkan berat testis mencit jantan dewasa yang mendapat latihan fisik maksimal, tetapi tidak nyata (p>0,05). Untuk penelitian selanjutnya perlu dilakukan penambahan dosis vitamin E dan lama pemberian.
