    Pengaruh Kegiatan Industri terhadap Kualitas Air Sumur pada Permukiman Penduduk di Desa Dagang Kelambir Kecamatan Tanjung Morawa Kabupaten Deli Serdang

    Abstract
    The purpose of this study conducted from December 2011 to February 2012 was to analyze the influence of industrial activity on the quality of well water and to find out the influence of the shape of the building and the distance between the well and the location of septic tank on the quality of well water in the residental area in Dagang Kelambir Village, Tanjung Morawa Sub District, Deli Serdang District. The data obtained were analyzed through descriptive analysis by comparing the results of laboratory lab to the clean water quality standard in accordance with the Regulation of Indonesian Health Minister No. 416/MENKES/PER/XI/1990. The result of this study showed that: 1) the industrial activity had influenced on the quality of well water in the residential area in Dagang Kelambir Village, Tanjung Morawa Sub District, Deli Serdang District in which: for simple well, the TSS value was 80 mg/L, the level of turbidity was 27.20 NTU, and the total of iron was 0.79 mg/L; for simple well with concrete, the TSS value was 70 mg/L, the level of turbidity was 13.20 NTU, and the total of iron was 0.85 mg/L; and for drilled well, the TSS value was 80 mg/L, the evel of tubidity was 9.20 NTU, and the total on iron was 0.79 mg/L. This result was higher than the clean water quality standard in accordance with the Regulation of Indonesia Health Minister No. 416/MENKES/PER/XI/1990, 2) The shape of the wellhand influence on the quality of well water, the more simple the shape of the well is, the lower the quality of well water will be. The distance of industrial activity and sptic tank also had influence on the quality of well water, the closer the location of industrial actiivty and septic tank to the well, the lower the quality of well water will be. Besed on the result of this study, to maintain the quality of well water, the residents using the well as the source of clean water are suggested to reinforce the wall of their well with concrete and the distance between their well and their septic tank should be greater tha 10 meters.     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kegiatan industri terhadap kualitas air sumur pada permukiman penduduk dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh bentuk bangunan dan jarak sumur dengan lokasi septitank terhadap kualitas air sumur pada permukiman penduduk di Desa Dagang Kelambir, Kecamatan Tanjung Morawa Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan pengumpulan data dari bulan Desember 2011 sampai bulan Pebruari 2012. Data dianalisis secata deskriptif dan membandingkan hasil uji laboratorium dengan Permenkes RI No. 416/MENKES/PER/XI/1990. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa : 1) Kegiatan industri berpengaruh terhadap kualitas air sumur penduduk di Desa Dagang Kelambir, Kecamatan Tanjung Morawa Kabupaten Deli Serdang di mana: pada sumur sederhana nilai TSS (80 mg/L), tingkat kekeruhan (27,20 NTU) dan besi total (0,79 mg/L), pada sumur sederhana dengan beton nilai TSS (70 mg/L), tingkat kekeruhan (13,20 NTU) dan besi total (0,85 mg/L) dan pada sumur bor/pantek nilai TSS (80 mg/L), tingkat kekeruhan (9,20 NTU) dan besi total (0,79 mg/L). Hal tersebut di atas lebih tinggi dari baku mutu kualitas air bersih sebagaimana dimaksud dalam Permenkes RI No. 416/Menkes/PER/XI/1990. 2) Bentuk bangunan sumur berpengaruh terhadap kualitas air sumur penduduk, semakin sederhana bentuk bangunan sumur maka akan semakin rendah kualitas air sumur, begitu juga dengan jarak lokasi industri dan septic tank/WC terhadap bangunan sumur berpengaruh terhadap kualitas air sumur, di mana semakin dekat lokasi indsutri dan septic tank terhadap bangunan sumur maka akan semakin rendah kualitas air sumur. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disarankan bila penduduk menggunakan air sumur sebagai sumber air bersih sebaiknya bangunan sumur dibeton untuk menjaga kualitas air sumur dan bila penduduk ingin membuat sumur sebaiknya jarak sumur dengan septic tank adalah di atas 10 meter Kata Kunci: Pengaruh kegiatan industri terhadap kualitas air, kualitas air sumur, pemukiman penduduk.
