    Pemanfaatan FMA dan Serasah Jagung untuk Peningkatan Produksi Kedelai (Glycine max) di Lahan Kering

    Abstract
    Water and nutrients limitation in dry land are problems faced in soybean cultivation because can be the inhibitor on plant growth and development. The application of alternative technologies such as the provision of FMA biological fertilizers and organic mulch in the form of corn litter which has the potential to improve soil physical, chemical and biological conditions are expected to overcome these limitations and further contribute to increased soybean production. The aim of this study was to determine the response of soybean to FMA and corn litter in increasing soybean production in dry land. The research was conducted at UPT BBI Palawija Tanjung Selamat, Deli Serdang District, Sunggal Subdistrict, Tanjung Anom Village from June to October 2019. The research design used in this study was a factorial randomized block design (4x3) with 3 replications. The first factor is Mycofer (M) with 4 levels, namely 0, 4, 8, 12 gr plant-1. The second factor is corn litter (S) with 3 levels, namely 0, 5, 10 tons Ha-1. The results obtained were Micofer had an effect on the percentage of root colonization and gave a positive response to the highest seed per plant weight of 4 grams Micofer/plant. The treatment of corn litter did not affect all observed variables. The treatment interaction with Micofer and corn litter only affected the percentage of root colonization.
     
    Keterbatasan air dan unsur hara di lahan kering menjadi permasalahan yang dihadapi pada budidaya kedelai karena dapat menghambat pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tanaman. Penerapan teknologi alternatif seperti pemberian pupuk hayati FMA dan mulsa organik berupa serasah jagung berpotensi dalam memperbaiki kondisi fisik, kimia, dan biologi tanah. Upaya ini diharapkan mampu mengatasi keterbatasan tersebut dan lebih lanjut berkontribusi meningkatkan produksi kedelai. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat respons kedelai terhadap pemberian FMA dan serasah jagung dalam meningkatkan produksi kedelai di lahan kering. Penelitian dilaksanakan di BBI Palawija Tj. Selamat Kabupaten Deli Serdang Kecamatan Sunggal Desa Tanjung Anom pada bulan Juni sampai Oktober 2019. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok Faktorial (4x3) dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor I adalah Micofer (M) dengan 4 taraf yaitu 0, 4, 8, 12 gr/tanaman. Faktor II adalah serasah jagung (S) dengan 3 taraf yaitu 0, 5, 10 ton/ha. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa pemberian Micofer memberikan pengaruh terhadap persentase kolonisasi akar dan memberikan respons positif terhadap bobot biji/tanaman tertinggi pada pemberian Micofer 4 gram/tanaman. Perlakuan penambahan serasah jagung tidak berpengaruh pada seluruh peubah amatan. Interaksi perlakuan pemberian Micofer dan serasah jagung hanya berpengaruh terhadap persentase kolonisasi akar
