A Study of the altitudinal study tree and pole and potential carbon storage in
Sinabung mountain has been conducted from January until Juni 2013. Research
conducted by using plot method place purposive random sampling at research
location with increas elevation. Sampling has been made by using 10x10 meters
belt transect. Every 100 m elevation level, were taken 20 sample plot so that up to
1700-2000 above sea level totalize plot were 60.The research areal study consist of
three location, Location I (1700-1800 m above sea level), Location II (1800-1900
m above sea level) and location III (1900-2000 m above sea level). Measured
parameter cover density, frequency, dominancy, Important Value Index
(IVI),Diversity Index (H'), and Evenness (E). Analysis of profile diagram was done
with software auto cad and analysis carbon storage was done with allometrik
equation by brown. Based on this study, it is found that 52 species, from 41 families
consisting of trees and pole were collected from the plots. Aglaia sp, Lithocarpus
sp.1 and Mycromeles corimbifera were three spesies with highest important value
index (IVI) on tree and on pole the highest important value index found at Aglai
sp, Eugenia operculata and Mycromeles corimbifera. The species diversity index
(H’) tree were 2,98 (Location I), 2,79 (Location II) and 0,79 (Location III), spesies
diversity Indeks (H’) pole were 2,72 (Location I), 2,41 (Location II) and 1,64
(location III). The value of eveness indeks on tree were 0,87 (Location I), 0,92
(Location II) and 0,44 (location III). Eveness value indeks of pole were 0,87
(Location I), 0,85 (Location II) and 0,79 (Location III). Carbon Storage of trees
achieved its highest values in Location I (141,98 t/ha) and contributed to total
carbon storage of 65,05% and Carbon storage of pole achieved its highest value in
location II (6,33 t/ha) and contributed to total carbon storage of 39,7%.
60. Penelitian dilakukan pada tiga lokasi, lokasi I (1700-1800 mdpl), lokasi II
(1800-1900 mdpl) dan lokasi III (1900-2000 mdpl). Parameter yang diukur
meliputi Frekuensi, Dominansi, Indeks Nilai Penting (INP), Indeks Keaneka
Indeks keaneka ragaman jenis pohon diperoleh 2,98 (Lokasi I), 2,79 (lokasi II) dan
0,79 (lokasi III), indeks keaneka ragaman jenis pole diperoleh 2,72 (lokasi I), 2,41
(lokasi II) dan 1,64 (lokasi III). Nilai indeks keseragaman pada pohon diperoleh
0,87 (lokasi I), 0,92 (lokasi II) dan 0,44 (lokasi III). Indeks keseragaman pada pole
diperoleh 0,87 (lokasi I), 0,85 (lokasi II) dan 0,79 (lokasi III). Karbon tersimpan
