dc.description.abstractOBJECTIVE Fine needle biopsy aspiration cytology is an important preoperative diagnostic procedure in breast lesions. In the mean time cytology interpretation is subjective and base on intuition and skills of a pathologist. To obtain an objective diagnostic result, it is necessary to use a computerized image analysis. A computerized morphometri and image analysis can be used to measure quantity of cell size such as nuclei perimeter and density. MATERIAL AND METHOD This is a cross sectional study to evaluate cytomorphometri ratio on nuclei perimeter and density in fibroadenoma, ductal and lobular carcinoma of the breast. Sample size for each group is 10. Biopsy aspiration preparation is stained with Diff Quik and with Feulgen for quantity of morphometri. Evaluation of nuclei image analysis presented in numeric data and transformed into histogram. RESULTS Mean nuclei perimeter in fibroadenoma is 0,5132 µm, in ductal carcinoma is 0,887 µm, in lobular carcinoma is 0,634 µm. Mean nuclei density in fibroadenoma is 0,5338 ROD and in ductal carcinoma is 0,45006 ROD. CONCLUTIONS The study results indicated that there was a difference in mean nuclei perimeter and nuclei density value found in cytology biopsy of fibroadenoma, ductal carcinoma, and lobular carcinoma stained with feulgen. There was no difference in mean nuclei perimeter and nuclei density value found in cytology biopsy of fibroadenoma, ductal carcinoma, and lobular carcinoma stained with Diff Quik.en_US
dc.description.abstractObjektif Pemeriksaan sitologi biopsi aspirasi jarum halus merupakan tindakan yang penting dalam diagnosa preoperatif lesi payudara. Selama ini interprestasi sediaan sitologi bersifat subjektif , hanya berdasarkan intuisi ,ketajaman mata dan pikiran ahli patologi anatomi. Sehingga untuk mendapatkan diagnosa yang lebih objektif, diperlukan aplikasi tambahan dengan menggunakan komputer melalui images analysis. Morfometri yang dilakukan dengan komputerisasi dan analisa gambar dapat digunakan untuk menghitung kuantitasi ukuran sel, seperti : keliling inti dan densitas inti Material dan Metode Penelitian menggunakan studi potong lintang yang menilai perbandingan sitomorfometri terhadap keliling dan densitas inti pada lesi fibroadenoma, karsinoma duktus dan lobular payudara. Jumlah sampel pada setiap kelompok adalah10. Sediaan hasil biopsi aspirasi diwarnai terlebih dahulu dengan Diff Quik dan dilakukan kuantitasi morfometri dengan pewarnaan Feulgen. Penilaian gambaran inti dinyatakan dengan angka-angka dan dipindahkan kedalam bentuk histogram. Hasil. Rata-rata keliling inti lesi payudara fibroadenoma: 0,5132 µm, karsinoma duktus : 0,887 µm dan karsinoma lobular: 0,634 µm. Rata-rata densitas inti fibroadenoma : 0,5338 ROD dan karsinoma duktus: 0,45006 ROD. Kesimpulan Pada hasil penelitian terdapat perbedaan nilai rata-rata keliling inti pada lesi fibroadenoma, karsinoma duktus dan karsinoma lobular serta terdapat perbedaan pada densitas inti pada lesi payudara fibroadenoma , karsinoma duktus dan lobular payudara dengan menggunakan pewarnaan feulgen. Pada pewarnaan Diff Quik tidak terdapat perbedan bermakna antara lesi fibroadenoma, karsinoma duktus dan karsinoma lobular.en_US
