    Efektivitas Pelatihan Karirku Cemerlang untuk Meningkatkan Perencanaan Karir Pada Siswa Smu

    Abstract
    This research aimed to determine the effectiveness of bright career training in order to increase career planning among student of senior high school. Bright career training is activities designed to increase the expertise and skills of the participants in a specific domain in the cognitive, affective and skill outcomes that involve the active participation of the participants. Training takes place for fourteen hours and presented in four sessions with each session takes place about 3,5 hours. The method used in this study was experimental method and design pretest post test control group design. Subjects were 20 student of senior high school at SMU Al Ulum, Medan and low in career planning. Data were collected using a career-planning scale, task sheet and home assigment. Data were analyzed using Mann Whitney Test to compare score pretest and post test. The results showed that bright career training was effectively to increase career planning among student of senior high school. Implication of this study is to contribute to school management in enhancing student career planning through bright career training.
     
    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas pelatihan karirku cemerlang untuk meningkatkan perencanaan karir pada siswa SMU. Pelatihan karirku cemerlang adalah suatu kegiatan yang dirancang untuk menambah keahlian dan keterampilan peserta dalam domain yang spesifik dalam aspek kognitif, afektif serta hasil keterampilan yang melibatkan partisipasi aktif dari peserta. Pelatihan berlangsung selama 14 jam yang disajikan dalam 4 sesi dan setiap sesinya berlangsung sekitar 3,5 jam. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan pretest post test control group design. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah 20 siswa SMU yang memiliki perencanaan karir rendah di SMU Al Ulum Kota Medan. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala perencanaan karir, lembar tugas dan lembar tugas rumah subjek. Data dianalisis dengan statistik nonparametrik, yakni Mann Whitney Test untuk membandingkan skor pretest dan post test kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan karirku cemerlang efektif dalam meningkatkan perencanaan karir siswa SMU. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi kepada manajemen sekolah dalam meningkatkan perencanaan karir siswa melalui pelatihan karirku cemerlang.
