    Pengaruh Tingkat Kepadatan Tanah dengan Pemberian Bahan Organik dan Tanpa Bahan Organik terhadap Pertumbuhan Tanaman Tebu (Saccharum Officinarum L.)

    Abstract
    MUHAMMAD RIFAI: The Effect of Soil Density Levels With Giving Organic Ingredients and Without Organic Ingredients on the Growth of Sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum L.),supervised by TAUFIK RIZALDI. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the growth of sugarcane caused by tractor trajectory. Soil compaction has caused disruption of plant root growth which in turn reduces crop production. Research on a greenhouse scale used a factorial completely randomized design consisting of 2 fertilizer factors and 4 soil compaction treatments so that there were 6 treatments with 4 replications for each treatments. The results showed that there was an increase in the value of mass density, particle density and decreasing the value of soil porosity at the stage of plant growth which occurred naturally which caused the soil to become denser, which was marked by a greater soil penetration resistance.The decline in sugarcane growth was found in the L4 treatment (4 times the tractor trajectory) where the mass density value was 1,864 gr/cm 3 and L6 (6 times the tractor trajectory) with a value of 2,111 gr/cm 3 where plant height, wet and dry weight of the canopy and roots had an effect very real whether given organic material or not given organic material.
     
    MUHAMMAD RIFAI: Pengaruh Tingkat Kepadatan Tanah Dengan Pemberian Bahan Organik dan Tanpa Pemberian Bahan Organik Terhadap Pertumbuhan Tanaman Tebu (Saccharum officinarum L.), dibimbing oleh TAUFIK RIZALDI. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi pertumbuhan tanaman tebu yang diakibatkan oleh lintasan traktor. Pemadatan tanah telah menyebabkan gangguan pertumbuhan akar tanaman yang pada akhirnya mengurangi produksi tanaman. Penelitian dalam skala rumah kaca menggunakan rancang acak lengkap faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor pupuk dan 4 perlakuan pemadatan tanah sehingga terdapat 6 perlakuan dengan 4 ulangan setiap perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan nilai kerapatan massa, kerapatan partikel dan penurunan nilai porositas tanah pada tahap pertumbuhan tanaman yang terjadi secara alami yang menyebabkan tanah semakin padat ditandai dengan tahanan penetrasi tanah yang semakin besar. Penurunan pertumbuhan tanaman tebu terdapat pada perlakuan L4 (4 kali lintasan traktor) dimana nilai kerapatan massa adalah 1,864 gr/cm3 dan L6 (6 kali lintasan traktor) dengan nilai 2,111 gr/cm3 dimana tinggi tanaman, bobot basah dan kering tajuk maupun akar memberikan pengaruh sangat nyata baik diberikan bahan organik maupun tidak diberikan bahan organik.
