Agustina E Br Marpaung 2021. “The Role of Liquid Organic Fertilizer and Phosphate Solubilizing Bacteria Bacillus sp to Increase P Uptake and Production of Potatoes (Solanum tuberosum), supervised by Dr. Ir. Hamidah Hanum, MP., as the head supervisor and Mariani Br. Sembiring, SP., MP., as a member. This study aimed to establish the best concentration of liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) and phosphate solubilizing bacteria (PSB) Bacillus sp to increase P uptake, growth and production of potatoes. The research was conducted from August - November 2020 at the Berastagi Agricultural Technology Research and Assessment Installation, Dolat Rayat District, Karo Regency, with an altitude of ± 1,340 m asl, andisol soil type. The design used was a factorial randomized block design with three replications. The treatments are first factor the LOF concentration {0 (control), 40, 80 and 120 ml L-1 water} and the second factor the PSB Bacillus sp type {without bacteria (control), Bacillus cereus, Bacillus pseudomycoides and Bacillus amyloliquefaciens}. The results showed that the liquid organic fertilizer with concentration 120 ml L-1 had the potential to increase the production from without treatment. Phosphate solubilizing bacteria Bacillus amyloliquefaciens can increase the phosphat nutrient uptake 33.42%, plant dry weight 27.28%, tuber weight per plant 13.21% and production 7.82% from without treatment on potato. The interaction of LOF concentration of 120 ml L-1 water and type of PSB B. amyloliquefaciens can increase the phosphat nutrient uptake 42.95%, plant dry weight 33.79%, tuber weight per plant 43.52% and production 34.50% from without treatment. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menetapkan konsentrasi pupuk organik cair (POC) dan jenis bakteri pelarut fosfat (BPF) Bacillus sp yang terbaik untuk meningkatkan serapan P, pertumbuhan dan produksi kentang. Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai Bulan Agustus - Nopember 2020 di Instalasi Penelitian dan Pengkajian Teknologi Pertanian Berastagi, Kecamatan Dolat Rayat, Kabupaten Karo, dengan ketinggian ± 1.340 m dpl, jenis tanah Andisol. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok faktorial dengan tiga ulangan. Perlakuan yang diteliti adalah faktor pertama konsentrasi POC {0 (kontrol), 40, 80 dan 120 ml/ l air} dan faktor kedua jenis BPF Bacillus sp {tanpa bakteri (kontrol), Bacillus cereus, Bacillus pseudomycoides dan Bacillus amyloliquefaciens}. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pupuk organik cair dengan konsentrasi 120 ml/l air berpotensi meningkatkan produksi dari tanpa perlakuan. Jenis bakteri pelarut fosfat Bacillus amyloliquefaciens dapat meningkatkan serapan hara P 33,42%, bobot kering tanaman 27,28%, bobot umbi per tanaman 13,21% dan produksi 7,82% dari tanpa perlakuan pada tanaman kentang. Interaksi konsentrasi POC 120 ml/l air dan jenis BPF B. amyloliquefaciens dapat meningkatkan serapan P tanaman 42,95%, bobot kering tanaman 33,79%, bobot umbi per tanaman 43,52% dan produksi 34,50% dari tanpa perlakuan.
