Analisis Kunjungan Wisatawan di Kawasan Kecamatan Pantai Cermin Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai

Abstract

Pantai Cermin in Serdang Bedagai District has seven coastal tourist objects which have their own attractiveness for tourists; it can also function as regional revenue for Serdang Bedagai District Administration from tourism. The objective of the research was to find out the influence of tourists’ income, travel expenses, travel duration, spare time, facilities, visit duration, and travel expenses to the tourist objects on the number of tourist visits at the area of Pantai Cermin Subdistrict, Serdang Bedagai District. The research used multiple linear regression analysis with the number of tourist visits as dependent variable. The result of the research showed that coefficient determination (R2) was 0.815 which indicated that independent variables in the multiple linear regression analysis explained their influence on dependent variable of 81.50%, while the rest (18.50%) was excluded from the research. Simultaneously, independent variables had significant influence on dependent variable. Partially, of the seven independent variables (income, travel duration, spare time, facilities, and visit duration), five of them had significant influence on dependent variable, while the variables of travel expenses and travel expenses to tourist objects did not have any influence. The result of multiple linear regression analysis showed that independent variables (income, travel expenses, spare time, facilities, and visit duration) had positive influence on the number of visits, while travel duration and travel expenses to tourist objects had negative influence on the number of visits.

Kawasan Kecamatan Pantai Cermin memiliki 7 (tujuh) obyek wisata pantai yang memiliki daya tarik tersendiri bagi wisatawan sekaligus dapat menambah pendapatan daerah bagi Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai dari sektor pariwisata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendapatan wisatawan, biaya perjalanan, lama perjalanan, waktu luang, fasilitas-fasilitas, lama berkunjung dan biaya perjalanan ke obyek wisata lain terhadap jumlah kunjungan wisatawan ke obyek wisata di Kawasan Kecamatan Pantai Cermin Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat analisis regresi linear berganda dengan jumlah kunjungan wisatawan sebagai variabel terikat. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa koefisien determinasi (R2) bernilai 0,815 menjelaskan bahwa dalam penelitian ini variabel-variabel bebas dalam model regresi linear berganda menjelaskan pengaruh terhadap variabel terikat sebesar 81,50%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 18,50% diluar model penelitian ini. Secara serempak variabel-variabel bebas dalam penelitian mempengaruhi variabel terikat secara signifikan. Secara parsial dapat dijelaskan bahwa dari ketujuh variabel bebas hanya lima variabel yang berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap variabel terikat yaitu variabel pendapatan, lama perjalanan, waktu luang, fasilitas-fasilitas dan lama berkunjung, sedangkan yang tidak berpengaruh yaitu variabel biaya perjalanan dan biaya perjalanan ke obyek wisata lain. Berdasarkan hasil regresi linear berganda variabel-variabel bebas yang berpengaruh positif terhadap jumlah kunjungan yaitu variabel pendapatan, biaya perjalanan, waktu luang, fasilitas-fasilitas dan lama berkunjung sedangkan variabel lama perjalanan dan biaya perjalanan ke obyek wisata lain berpengaruh negatif terhadap jumlah kunjungan.
