dc.description.abstractObjective:Todetermine differences inthe expression ofmonocytechemotacticprotein-1in endometriosiscomparedwithnormalendometrium. Methods:This analytical studywithcase-controldesignexamined21paraffinblock sectopicendometriosispatients with endometriosisthat was obtainedfrom laparotomyorlaparoscopyandparaffinblocksof normalendometrialtissue which obtainedfromlaparotomyorcurettageof the endometrium. Immunohistochemical stainingof the tissuewas performed by usingantrum gastricas apositive control.The resultswere interpretedbased on the strengthof colorintensityandstatisticallyanalyzed. Results:21 cases of endometriosis were observed, as many as 21 (100%) patients with endometriosis ectopic endometrial tissue stained with intensity +1, +2 and +3, while 21 cases of normal endometrium, the whole stained with negative intensity. Expression of Monocyte chemotactic protein 1 (MCP-1) in patients with endometriosis ectopic endometrial tissue is higher than normal endometrium and statistically significant (p <0.05). Based on the comparison between the proportion of Monocyte Chemotactic Protein 1 (MCP-1) with the majority of endometriosis stage is 3 (55.6%) and stage 4 (44.4%) in stage 4, whereas the proportion of expression scores MCP- 1 with a score 2 all of stage 4 (100%) and Proportion scores expression of MCP-1 with a score 3 in stage 4 is 4 (54.5%) and the lowest with stage 2 is 2 (18.2%). With Fisher exact test was obtained value p> 0.05, which means there is no significant relationship MCP-1 expression value proportion with normal endometrium of endometriosis tissue. Conclusions:Monocytechemotacticprotein-1 (MCP-1)expressionwas significantly associated withendometriosis women than withnormalendometrium women, with aasignificant differencebetweenwomenwithendometriosisandnormalendometrium.en_US

EkspresiMonositKemotaktik Protein -1 (MCP-1) padajaringan endometrium ektopikpenderita endometriosis lebihtinggidibandingkan endometrium normal danbermaknasecarastatistik (p<0.05).Berdasarkanperbandingan antaraproporsiMonositKemotaktik Protein -1 (MCP-1) dengan stadium endometriosis terbanyakadalah3 (55,6%) danstadium 4 (44,4%) pada stadium 4, sedangkan proporsi skor ekspresi MCP-1 dengan score 2 seluruhnya dengan stadium 4(100%) dan Proportion score ekspresi MCP-1 dengan score 3 pada stadium 4 adalah 4 (54,5%) dan terendah dengan stadium 2 adalah 2 (18,2%). Dengan fisher exact test didapat nilai p >0,05 yang berarti tidak ada hubungan yang bermakna nilai proporsi ekspresi MCP -1 jaringan endometriosis dengan endometrium normal.
