Profil Hasil Pemeriksaan Sitologi Transthoracic Needle Aspiration dan histopatologi Core Biopsy dengan Panduan CT Scan pada Pasien Terdiagnosis Kanker Paru di Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat Haji Adam Malik Medan

Abstract

Abstract Knowing the profile of the histopathological examination of Core Biopsy and Transthoracic Needle Aspiration cytology with CT scan guidance in patients diagnosed with lung cancer at Haji Adam Malik General Hospital Medan. Method: This study is descriptive. The research subjects were 42 patients diagnosed with lung cancer at H. Adam Malik Hospital Medan in 2016-2020. The subjects of this study were part of the population that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Research subjects were selected by consecutive sampling. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics for categorical variables. Result: On the study subjects 42 people, there are results in the form of the highest percentage of age 60-71 years (42.9 %), the average age is 59 years, the most gender is male (71.4%), the most lung cancer staging is IV A (57 .1 %), the most common lung cancer cell types were adenocarcinoma in cytology (33.3%) and histopathology (31,0%). Conclusion: It can be concluded that lung cancer patients are often found in men, old age, advanced stage with adenocarcinoma cells.

Abstrak Mengetahui profil dari hasil pemeriksaan histopathologi Core Biopsy dan sitologi Transthoracic Needle Aspiration dengan panduan CT scan pada pasien terdiagnosis kanker paru di RSUP Haji Adam Malik Medan. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Subyek penelitian sebanyak 42 pasien terdiagnosis kanker paru di Rumah Sakit H. Adam Malik Medan pada tahun 2016-2020. Subyek penelitian ini adalah bagian dari populasi yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Subyek penelitian diseleksi dengan consecutive sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik secara deskriptif untuk variabel kategorik. Hasil: Dari subyek penelitian 42 orang, terdapat hasil berupa proporsi persentasi umur terbanyak 60-71 tahun (42,9 %), rerata umur 59 tahun, jenis kelamin terbanyak laki- laki (71,4%), staging kanker paru terbanyak IV A (57,1 %), jenis sel kanker paru terbanyak adenokarsinoma pada sitologi (33,3%) dan histopatologi (31,0%). Kesimpulan: Dapat disimpulkan pada penderita kanker paru sering dijumpai pada laki-laki, umur tua, stadium lanjut dengan sel adenokarsinoma.
