Analisis Pengaruh Pengeluaran Pemerintah dan Krisis Ekonomi terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Sumatera Utara

Abstract

The title of this research is The impact of Government Expenditure and Economic Crisis on Economic Growth in North Sumatra Province, this research main purpose is to analize the impact of government’s routine expenditure, government’s development expenditure of agriculture, industry, and merid sector combined with the economic crises on the economic growth of North Sumatra Province. Ordinary Least Square method and Multiple Linear Regression are used to analize secondary data from 1980 – 2008, and Eviews 5.1 is used to estimate the data. The estimation result showed that government’s routine expenditure, government’s development expenditure on agriculture, industry, and merid sector combined with the economic crises had positive and significant impact on economic growth of the North Sumatra Province. Partially, government’s routine expenditure had the strongest impact on economic growth of the North Sumatra Province compare to the other expenses

Penelitian ini berjudul Analisis Pengaruh Pengeluaran Pemerintah dan Krisis Ekonomi terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Sumatera Utara. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis bagaimana pengaruh Pengeluaran Rutin, Pengeluaran Pembangunan untuk sektor Pertanian, Pengeluaran Pembangunan untuk sektor Industri, Pengeluaran Pembangunan untuk sektor Jasa, dan Krisis Ekonomi terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder tahun 1980 – 2008 dan diestimasikan dengan Regresi Linear Berganda dan metode Ordinary Least Square (OLS), serta memakai alat bantu Eviews 5.1. Hasil estimasi penelitian menunjukkan Pengeluaran Rutin Pemerintah di Sumatera Utara, Pengeluaran Sektor Pertanian, Pengeluaran Sektor Industri, Pengeluaran Sektor Jasa, dan Krisis Ekonomi memiliki pengaruh terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Sumatera Utara. Secara parsial Pengeluaran Rutin Pemerintah di Sumatera Utara terbesar pengaruhnya terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi, dibandingkan pengeluaran lainnya.
