Analisis Etos Kerja, Iklim Kerja dan Disiplin Kerja Terhadap Produktivitas Kerja Perawat Pelaksana di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Provinsi Sumatera Utara
Abstract
One of the parameters of the success in nursing service is to what extent nurses' productivity in providing good nursing care for their clients and the clients' families. In order to achieve the development of optimal work productivity, several supporting factors are needed such as harmonious work climate, good work ethic, and high work discipline. The objective of the research was to find out the correlation of work climate, work ethic, and work discipline with work productivity of the nurse practitioners at Mental Hospital, Medan. The research used descriptive correlative design which was aimed to analyze the correlation of the variables of work climate, work ethic, and work discipline with work productivity of the nurse practitioners at. Mental Hospital, Medan. The population was 144 nurses, and 60 of them were used as the samples, using systematic random sampling technique. The data were analyzed by using univariate, bivariate, and multivariate tests in order to find out the correlation between independent variables and dependent variable. Based on the result of the research, hypothetical test-, and the analysis, it could be concluded as follows: 48 respondents (80%) had good work climate at Mental Hospital Medan, while 12 respondents (20%) had bad work climate. 52 respondents (86.7%) had good work ethic, while 8 respondents (13.3%) had bad work ethic. 53 respondents (88.3%) had good work discipline, while 7 respondents (11.7%) had bad work discipline. There was significant correlation between work climate and work productivity of nurse practitioners in the Mental Hospital of North Sumatera Province, while there was no significant correlation of work ethic and work climate with work productivity although work climate influenced nurses’ work productivity. The factor which had the most dominant influence on nurses’ work productivity was work discipline at p value = 0,011 and coefficient regression value of 0,538, while work ethic and work climate did not have any correlation with work productivity. Salah satu ukuran keberhasilan pelayanan keperawatan adalah seberapa besar produktifitas perawat dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan yang baik kepada klien dan keluarganya. Untuk mencapai pertumbuhan produktivitas kerja yang optimal diperlukan beberapa faktor pendukung antara lain adalah adanya iklim kerja yang harmonis, etos kerja yang baik dan disiplin kerja yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara iklim kerja, etos kerja, dan disiplin kerja dengan produktivitas kerja para perawat pelaksana di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Medan. Desain penelitian menggunakan deskriptif korelatif, yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara variabel iklim kerja, etos kerja dan disiplin kerja dengan produktivitas kerja perawat di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Medan. Jumlah sampel 60 orang dari 144 populasi yang diambil dengan teknik random sampling. Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara variabel independen dengan variabel dependen digunakan analisis data dengan uji univariat, bivariat dan multivariat. Berdasarkan temuan hasil penelitian dan pengujian hipotesis serta pembahasan penelitian maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan sebagai berikut: Iklim kerja Perawat di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Medan mayoritas baik sebesar 48 responden (80%) dan minoritas iklim kerja kurang baik sebanyak 12 responden (20%); Etos kerja Perawat di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Medan mayoritas baik sebesar 52 responden (86,7%) dan minoritas merasa iklim kerja kurang baik hanya 8 responden (13,3%). Disiplin kerja perawat di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Medan mayoritas baik sebanyak 53 responden (88,3%) dan minoritas kurang baik sebanyak 7 responden (11,7%). Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara disiplin kerja dengan produktivitas kerja perawat pelaksana di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Provinsi Sumatera Utara sedangkan antara etos kerja dan iklim kerja dengan produktivitas kerja tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan tetapi iklim kerja mempengaruhi produktivitas kerja perawat. Faktor yang paling dominan berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas kerja perawat adalah disiplin kerja dengan nilai p = 0,011 dengan nilai koefisien regresi 0,538, sedangkan etos kerja dan iklim kerja tidak memiliki hubungan dengan produktivitas kerja.
