    Oksidasi Glukosa dengan Molekul Oksigen Menggunakan Katalis Pd (II)-Benzokuinon-Heteropolyacid dalam Pelarut Asam Asetat

    Abstract
    Glukosa dapat dioksidasi denqan molekul oksigen dalam larutan asam asetat menggunakan katalis Pd(II)-benzokuinon-heteropolyacid menghasilkan asam 6-asetil glukonat (50%). Pembentukan asam 6-asetil glukonat dibuktikan secara kimia dengan mereaksikannya dengan metanol dengan adanya asam sulfat atau dengan NaOH dalam metanol yang selanjutnya direaksikan dengan CH3OH/HCl menghasilkan diester, 6-asetil, 1-metil glukonat, (30%). Struktur senyawa-senyawa ini dikonfirmasikan dengan spektroskopi FT-IR atau 1H-NMR atau keduanya.
     
    Glucose can be oxidized by molecular oxygen in aqueous acetic acid catalyzed by Pd(II)-benzoquinone-heteropolyacid to produce 6-acetyl gluconic acid (50%), The formation of 6-acetyl gluconic acid was proved chemically by treating either with methanol in the presence of sulfuric acid or with NaOH in methanol followed by reacting with CH3OH/HCl to form diester 6-acetyl, 1-methyl gluconic, (30%). The structures of the compounds were confirmed either by FT-IR or lH-NMR spectroscopy or both,
