Pengaruh Paparan Asap Rokok Elektrik terhadap Motilitas, Jumlah Sel Sperma dan Kadar MDA Testis Mencit Jantan (Mus musculus, L.).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of an electric cigarette smoke exposure on motility, the number of sperm cells and testicular MDA levels of male mice (Mus musculus, L.). This study using adult male mice (Mus musculus, L.) as many as 30 individuals who were divided into 3 treatment groups. The first group as a control group who did not get an electric cigarette smoke exposure. The second group get the electric cigarette smoke exposure type A (extra smoke flavor/strawberry) for 15 days and the third group to get exposure to cigarette smoke electric type B (conventional cigarettes taste/gudang garam) for 15 days. The results showed significant differences in sperm motility groups that receive electric cigarette smoke exposure types A and B (p<0.05) compared with the control group and in sperm count was found significantly different results in the group that received an alectric cigarette smoke exposure type B compared with the control group but the group that received exposure to cigarette smoke electric type A results are insignificantly different from the control group. Testicular MDA levels of group of mice that exposure electric cigarette smoke type A and B found no significantly different results with the control group (p>0.05). although showing slight differences. Exposure to cigarette smoke electrically negatively impact reproductive ability of mice and this was probably triggered by the presence of free radical products generated by the electric cigarette smoke.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh paparan asap rokok elektrik terhadap motilitas, jumlah sel sperma dan kadar MDA testis mencit jantan (Mus musculus, L.). Penelitian ini memakai mencit jantan dewasa (Mus musculus, L.) sebanyak 30 ekor yang dibagi dalam 3 kelompok perlakuan. Kelompok pertama sebagai kelompok kontrol yang tidak mendapatkan paparan asap rokok elektrik. Kelompok kedua mendapatkan paparan asap rokok elektrik jenis A (rasa rokok tambahan / strawberry) selama 15 hari dan kelompok ketiga mendapatkan paparan asap rokok elektrik jenis B (rasa rokok konvensional / gudang garam) selama 15 hari. Hasil yang didapat menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang nyata pada motilitas sperma kelompok yang mendapat paparan asap rokok elektrik jenis A dan B (p<0,05) dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol dan pada jumlah sperma didapati hasil yang berbeda nyata pada kelompok yang mendapat paparan asap rokok elektrik jenis B dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol tetapi kelompok yang mendapat paparan asap rokok elektrik jenis A hasilnya berbeda tidak nyata dengan kelompok kontrol. Kadar MDA testis kelompok mencit yang dipapari asap rokok elektrik jenis A dan B didapati hasil yang berbeda tidak nyata dengan kelompok kontrol (p>0,05) walaupun menunjukkan adanya sedikit perbedaan. Paparan asap rokok elektrik memberikan pengaruh negatif terhadap kemampuan reproduksi mencit dan hal ini kemungkinan dicetuskan oleh adanya produk radikal bebas yang dihasilkan oleh asap rokok elektrik.
