dc.description.abstractSaroha Manurung. Evaluation of Soil characteristic in Some Soil and Water Concervation Techniques in Oil Palm Plantation. The purpose of this study to determine the most appropriate concervation tecniques used in oil palm plantations to reduce damage to palm oil plantations. This study was conducted since April 2013 until February 2014, in the Bangun Estate, PTPN III Simalungun district, North Sumatra Province. This study used a desing of randomized group (RAK) no factorial with treatment factors, consisting of ; VM: Vertical Mulch, CB: Compost Biopori, CD: Concave Disc, PG: Planting Grass. The results show vertical mulch concervation techniques and biopori can increase soil water content. concervation techniques of planting gress and concave disk can increase the permeabiliti of the soil. Concervation techniques are inplemented in area of palm oil plantation does not give affect on the C-organic, N-total, C/N, BD, CEC, infiltration, Level of N, P, K in the leavesof palm oil.en_US
dc.description.abstractSaroha. EvaluasiSifat Tanah Pada Beberapa Teknik Konservasi Tanah dan Air di Perkebunan kelapa Sawit. Tujuan penpelitian ini untuk mengetahui teknik konservasi yang paling tepat di gunakan di lahan perkebunan kelapa sawit untuk mengurangi kerusakan tetapi dapat memperbaiki tanah pada perkebunan kelapa sawit. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan April 2013 sampai dengan Februari 2014 di Kebun Bangun, PTPN III Kabupaten Simalungun, Propinsi Sumatra Utara. Penelitian ini mengunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) non factorial dengan factor perlakuan, terdiridari ; MV : MulsaVertikal, KB: Kompos Biopori, PC: Piringan Cekung, PR: Penanaman Rumput. Hasil penelitian menunjukanTeknik konservasi Mulsa Vertikal dan Bio Pori dapat meningkatkan kadar air tanah. Teknik konservasi penanaman rumput dan piringan cekung dapat meningkatkan permeabilitas tanah. Teknik konservasi yang dilaksanakan di lahan perkebunan kelapa sawit belum berpengaruh terhadap C-organik, N-total, C/N, BD, KTK, Infiltrasi, Kadar hara N, P, K padadaun.en_US
