Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Kinerja Penyuluh Pertanian di Kabupaten Mandailing Natal

Abstract

RAFIQAH AMANDA LUBIS, The Factors which Influence the Performance of Agricultural extention worker in Mandailing Natal District (under supervision of Dr. Ir. Satia Negara Lubis, MEc as the Chairperson, and Ir. Iskandarini, MM, Ph.D as the member). Performance is a work result or work performance. However, in reality, performance has broad meaning; it is not only a work result but also the process of the work itself. The objective of the research was to analyze the correlation of the factors of extention worker characteristics with agricultural extention worker performance and to analyze the influence of the factors of extention worker characteristics on agricultural extention worker performance. The data consisted of primary and secondary data which were analyzed by using univatriate with multiple linear regression tests and bivatriate analysis with chi square test. The result of the research showed that the factors of extention worker characteristics had significant correlation with their performance in education (years) and salary (rupiahs), while the factors of extention worker characteristics had significant influence on their performance in education (years).

Namun, sebenarnya kinerja mempunyai makna yang lebih luas, bukan hanya hasil kerja tetapi termasuk berlangsungnya proses pekerjaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan antara faktor-faktor karakteristik penyuluh dengan kinerja penyuluh pertanian dan untuk menganalisis pengaruh antara faktor-faktor karakteristik penyuluh terhadap kinerja penyuluh pertanian. Data yang digunakan terdiri dari data primer dan sekunder yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis univariat, analisis bivariat dengan menggunakan uji chi square dan analisis multivariat dengan menggukan uji regresi linier berganda Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor karakteristik penyuluh yang berhubungan secara signifikan dengan keberhasilan kinerja penyuluh yaitu tingkat pendidikan (tahun) dan gaji (Rp) sedangkan faktor-faktor karakteristik penyuluh yang berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap keberhasilan kinerja penyuluh yaitu tingkat pendidikan (tahun)
