| dc.description.abstract | Aisar Novita, 2014. “Effects of giberellic acid and Salicylic acid on Growth of Hibiscus sabdarifa L. Under Salt Stress ”. Supervised by Luthfi A.M. Siregar, SP, MSc, PhD. as the chief ofcommission, and Prof. Dr. Ir. Rosmayati, MS. as the commission member. This research was conducted in a greenhouse of Agricuture Faculty, North Sumatra University, Medan, from February until June 2014. The research used completely randomized design with three factors. The first factor was giberellic acid were giberellic acid (5 mg L-1) and without giberellic acid. The second factor was salicylic acid were 0 mM, 0,5 mM and 1 mM. The third factor was salinity were 0 dsm-1 and 4-5 dsm-1. The result of this research indicated that the application of gibberellin concentration indicated significant effect on plant growth variables such as the percentage of germination, thick cuticle, chlorophyll a and b, beta-carotene and color of flower. Application of salicylic acid indicated significant effect on growth such as thick cuticle, chlorophyll a and b and beta-carotene. Salt stress application indicated significant on growth and production variables such as percentage of germination, plants height, stem diameter, thick cuticle, chorophyll a and b, age harvest, beta-carotene, color of flower and harvest index. The interaction of giberellic acid and salicylic acid indecate significant effect on parameter such as thick cuticle, chlorophyll a and b, beta-carotene. Interaction between giberellic acid and salt stress indicated significant effect on growth and production such as percentage of germination, thick cuticle, chlorophyll a and b, beta-carotene and color of flower. Interaction between salicylic acid and salt stress indicated significant effect on growth and production such as thick cuticle, chlorophyll a and b, beta-carotene. | dc.description.abstract | AISAR NOVITA. Pengaruh Pengaruh Pemberian Giberellin (GA3) dan Asam Salisilat Pada Kondisi Cekaman Salinitas Terhadap Pertumbuhan Rosella (Hibiscus Sabdariffa). Komisi Pembimbing, Ketua : Bapak Luthfi A.M .Siregar, SP, MSc, PhD dan Ibu Prof. Dr. Ir. Rosmayati, MS selaku anggota komisi pembimbing. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Rumah Kaca, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Sumatera Utara, Medan, pada Februari 2014 sampai Juni 2014. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 3 (tiga) faktor dan 3 (tiga) ulangan. Faktor pertama giberellin (GA3) dengan dua taraf yaitu 0 mg L-1, 5 mg L-1. Faktor kedua asam salisilat dengan tiga taraf yaitu 0 mM, 0,5 mM, 1 mM. Faktor ketiga tingkat salinitas dengan 2 taraf yaitu 0 dsm-1 dan 4-5 dsm-1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan giberellin menunjukkan pengaruh yang berbeda nyata pada peubah pertumbuhan tanaman seperti persentase perkecambahan, tebal kutikula, klorofil a dan b, betakaroten dan warna bunga. Perlakuan asam salisilat menunjukkan pengaruh nyata pada peubah tebal kutikula, klorofil a, klorofil b dan betakaroten. Perlakuan cekaman salinitas berpengaruh nyata pada peubah pertumbuhan dan produksi seperti persentase perkecambahan, tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, tebal kutikula, klorofil a dan b, umur panen, betakaroten, warna bunga dan indeks panen. Interaksi antara giberellin dan asam salisilat memperlihatkan pengaruh nyata pada tebal kutikula, klorofil a dan b, betakaroten. Interaksi antara giberellin dan cekaman salinitas memperlihatkan pengaruh nyata pada peubah pertumbuhan dan produksi seperti persentase perkecambahan, tebal kutikula, klorofil a dan b, betakaroten dan warna bunga. Interaksi antara perlakuan asam salisilat dan cekaman salinitas memperlihatkan pengaruh nyata pada tebal kutikula, klorofil a dan b, betakaroten. Interaksi tiga faktor perlakuan giberellin, asam salisilat dan cekaman salinitas menunjukkan pengaruh yang nyata pada peubah tebal kutikula, klorofil a dan b, betakaroten. | en_US |
