| dc.description.abstract | Surianto, 2010. Response of Oil Palm Seedlings on Peat dan Saline Soils
Combination as Potting Media Which was Applied Copper on Main Nursery. The
purpose of this trial was to find the treatment effects of the best combination among
peat and saline soil, copper and combination between copper and potting media on
the oil palm seedlings growth.
This trial was conducted on four-months old Marihat Research DxP oil palm
seedlings in February 2010 until June 2010 at PT. Simpang Ampat, United Kingdom
(Ukindo) Plantation Group, Simpang Ampat Village, Serdang Bedagei District,
North Sumatera Province. The design of the trial was a Factorial Randomized
Block Design (RBD) consisted of five treatment levels of soil potting media and
three treatment levels of copper and tested with contrast test.
The results of this trial that potting soil media treatment showed significant
difference among parameters such ash wet and dry root weight (g), girth diameter
(cm), palm height (cm), total no of fronds, palm leaf area (cm2) and wet and dry
palm weight (g) meanwhile treatment of K3 (75% peat and 25% saline soil
combination) had the mean highest among parameters of wet and dry root weight
(g), palm height (cm), girth diameter (cm), total no of fronds, palm leaf area (cm2),
wet and dry palm weight (g) and no significant difference of K2 treatment (50% peat
and 50% saline soil combination). Statistically, no significant difference of copper
treatments of all palm growth parameters. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Surianto, 2010. Respon Bibit Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) Pada
Media Kombinasi Gambut dan Tanah Salin Yang Diaplikasi Tembaga (Cu) di
Pembibitan Utama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari
kombinasi terbaik media tanam gambut dan tanah salin, pengaruh pemberian
pupuk tembaga (Cu) dan juga pengaruh dari kombinasi perlakuan media tanam dan
pemupukan tembaga (Cu) pada pertumbuhan bibit kelapa sawit di pembibitan
lanjutan (main nursery).
Pelaksanaan penelitian dimulai pada Februari 2010 dan berakhir Juni 2010.
Menggunakan bahan tanam DxP Marihat Research Station (MRS) berusia 4 bulan.
Lokasi penelitian berada di Pembibitan Kelapa Sawit, PT. Simpang Ampat, United
Kingdom (Ukindo) Plantation, Desa Simpang Ampat, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagei,
Propinsi Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan Kombinasi Rancangan Acak
Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial 2 Faktor dan masing-masing diulang sebanyak 3 kali
dengan Uji Kontras.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan media tanam (K)
memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap beberapa peubah amatan yaitu berat basah
dan berat kering akar (g), diameter batang (cm), tinggi tanaman (cm), jumlah daun,
luas daun (cm2), berat basah dan berat kering tanaman (g), sedangkan perlakuan
K3 (media tanam 75% gambut + 25% tanah salin) menunjukkan nilai rataan
tertinggi pada peubah amatan berat basah dan berat kering akar (g), tinggi tanaman
(cm), diameter batang (cm), jumlah daun, luas daun (cm2), berat basah dan berat
kering tanaman (g) serta tidak berbeda nyata dengan penggunaan media tanam
50% gambut + 50% tanah salin (K2). Perlakuan pupuk Cu (tembaga) tidak
menunjukkan perbedaan hasil yang nyata pada semua peubah amatan pada
pengamatan terakhir. | en_US |
