dc.description.abstract | Moment and curvature are two parameters that can be used to determine beam
ductility. Beam dactility can be obtained by deviding curvature are flexture
reinforcement diameter (tension and compression), concrete strength. Moment and
curvature analysis are also determining stess and strain value consideris connection
between moment-curvature and stress-strain. This experiment is done to determine
conection between moment and curvature in a concrete beam without confinement.
Model that has been in this experiment are rectangular reinforcement concrete
beams 20x30x240 cm. That beam has tension reinforcement 3Ø10 and compression
reinforcement 2Ø10. The beams has two variation of concrete strength, which are K-
175 and K-250. Loads are given continuously to the beam first crack occurred until
failure occurred to the beam. Deflection and strain are roted in every stage of load
reading.
From this experiment we can see that flexture crack begin from bottom
section of the beam and then continue to centre of the beam. Strain, stress, curvature
and moment are increasing slightly because of the variation of concrete strength. | en_US |
