dc.description.abstractResearch of The Diversity And Distibution of Fishes And Connection With Water Quality of Siais Lake In The South Tapanuli Resindence conducted in November 2010- March 2011. Samples taken from five observation stations, where at each station conducted thirty replication of sampling. The Method used in samples with Purposive Random Sampling. Samples were taken by using fishing net then identified that was done in Laboratory of Natural Resources and Environment Processing, Biology Department, Mathematic and Science Faculty, North Sumatera University. From the result showed the diversity of fishes consists of 5 orders, 8 families, 12 genera and 12 species. Fishes diversity index ranged from 2.04 to 2.27, the overall Diversity of fishes is low. The calculation of Morisita Distribution Indeks showed that prawn distributed in group. The analysis Pearson correlation, penetration of light, DO, BOD5, fosfate TDS, TSS has the positive correlated to the diversity of fishes, while pH, COD, organic substrate, temperature, nitrat E. Coli has the negative correlated to the diversity of fishes. From the physical of chemical and biolgical, have not been polluted waters of Lake Siais and still within the normal range according to the quality standard of water quality class I by PP 82 of 2001 and the method Storet.en_US
dc.description.abstractPenelitian tentang Keanekaragaman dan Distribusi Ikan Serta Hubungannya Dengan Kualitas Air Danau Siais Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan dilakukan pada bulan Nopember 2010 - Maret 2011. Sampel diambil dari lima stasiun pengamatan, pada setiap stasiun dilakukan tiga puluh kali ulangan pengambilan sampel. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel adalah dengan Purposive Random Sampling. Sampel ikan diambil dengan menggunakan jala tebar kemudian dilakukan identifikasi di Laboratorium Pengelolaan Sumber Daya Alam dan Lingkungan Departemen Biologi, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Universitas Sumatera Utara. Dari hasil penelitian menujukkan keanekaragaman ikan terdiri dari 5 ordo, 8 famili, 12 genus dan 12 species. Indeks Keanekaragaman ikan berkisar antara 2,04-2,27, secara keseluruhan keanekaragaman ikan pada perairan Danau Siais adalah rendah dan Indeks Distribusi Morisita menunjukkan bahwa ikan berdistribusi secara berkelompok. Dari hasil analisis korelasi Pearson menunjukkan bahwa intensitas cahaya, DO, BOD5, PO4, TDS, TSS, berkolerasi positif (searah) terhadap keanekaragaman ikan sedangkan pH, COD, substrat, suhu NO3, E.coli dan penetrasi cahaya berkolerasi negatif terhadap keanekaragaman ikan. Dari sifat fisik kimia dan biologi yang didapat, perairan Danau Siais belum tercemar dan masih berada dalam kisaran normal yang sesuai dengan baku mutu kualitas air kelas I berdasarkan PP 82 Tahun 2001 dan Metode Storet.en_US
