dc.description.abstract | Amination of cystein amino acid with ethyl chloride gave N-Ethyl cystein in 76% yield. Polyglycyl N-Ethyl cystein was prepared from the reaction of polyethylene glycol and N-Ethyl cystein in 58% yield. The product formed was a mix of mono - and di - polyglycyl N-Ethyl cystein. The product of each reaction was confirmed by FT-IR and 1H-NMR spectroscopies. The hydrophilicity of N-Ethyl cystein and polyglycyl N-Ethyl cystein were determined by Du-Nouy tensiometer. The HLB values of N-Ethyl cystein and polyglycyl N-Ethyl cystein were 2.86 and 2.91 respectively. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | Aminasi asam amino sisteina dengan etil klorida menghasilkan N-Etil sisteina dengan rendemen sebesar 76 %. Senyawa poliglikil N-Etil sisteina dibuat dari reaksi polietilena glikol dengan N-Etil sisteina dengan rendemen sebesar 58 %. Produk yang terbentuk merupakan campuran mono- dan di-poliglikil N-Etil sisteina. Produk yang dihasilkan pada setiap tahap reaksi dikonfirmasikan dengan spektroskopi FT-IR dan lH_NMR. Hidrofilisitas N-Etil sisteina dan poliglikil N-Etil sisteina diuji dengan tensiometer Du-Nouy. Harga HLB dari N-Etil sisteina dan poliglikil N-Etil sisteina adalah 2,86 dan 2,91. | en_US |
