    Perbandingan NaOH dan Ca(OH)2 pada Proses Penurunan Kadar Minyak, Nilai BOD dan COD dalam Limbah Cair Pabrik Kelapa Sawit (LCPKS)

    Abstract
    Comparison has been done NaOH with Ca(OH)2 on the reduction of oil / grease, BOD and COD values in Palm Oil Factory Wastewater (LCPKS), Level of oil/fat was analyzed by the gravimetric, BOD values were analysed method of Winkler and COD values with were analysed method of titrimetri refluks. Initial sample analysis showed that the concentration of oil / grease, BOD and COD values respectively at the beginning of the aeration pond was 81.30 mg / L; 591.63 mg / L and 1438.53 mg / L while the primary aerobic pond was 161, 20 mg / L; 1167.75 mg / L and 1873.25 mg / L. The results showed that the variation of stirring time of 5, 10 and 15 minutes of the most effective is 15 minutes where the percentage reduction in levels of oil / grease, BOD and COD values for the addition of NaOH 5% in the aeration pond is 30.26%; 29.24 % and 8.24%, while the primary aerobic pond is 23.39%, 27.12% and 5.91%. The same results showed that the variation of stirring time of 5, 10 and 15 minutes of the most effective was 15 minutes where the percentage reduction in levels of oil / grease, BOD and COD values for the addition of Ca (OH) 2 5% in the aeration pond was 17, 71%, 24.30% and 6.06%, while the primary aerobic pond was 11.04%, 22.20% and 5.06%. The addition of NaOH to yield the percentage of waste LCPKS percentage reduction, reduced levels of oil, BOD and COD values greater than the addition of Ca (OH)2.
     
    Penelitian tentang perbandingan NaOH dengan Ca(OH)2 pada proses penurunan minyak/lemak, nilai BOD dan COD dalam Limbah Cair Pabrik Kelapa Sawit (LCPKS), telah dilakukan. Kadar minyak/lemak ditentukan dengan gravimetri, nilai BOD dianalisis dengan metode Winkler dan COD dengan metode refluks titrimetri. Analisi sampel awal menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi kadar minyak/lemak, nilai BOD dan COD awal masing-masing pada kolam aerasi adalah 81,30 mg/L; 591,63 mg/L dan 1438,53 mg/L sedangkan kolam aerobik primer adalah 161,20 mg/L; 1167,75 mg/L dan 1873,25 mg/L. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan variasi waktu pengadukan dari 5, 10 dan 15 menit yang paling efektif adalah 15 menit dimana persentase penurunan kadar minyak/lemak, nilai BOD dan COD untuk penambahan NaOH 5% pada kolam aerasi adalah 30,26%; 29,24% dan 8,24%, sedangkan pada kolam aerobik primer adalah 23,39%; 27,12% dan 5,91%. Hasil penelitian yang sama menunjukkan bahwa dengan variasi waktu pengadukan dari 5, 10 dan 15 menit yang paling efektif adalah 15 menit dimana persentase penurunan kadar minyak/lemak, nilai BOD dan COD untuk penambahan Ca(OH) 5% pada kolam aerasi adalah 17,71%; 24,30% dan 6,06%, sedangkan pada kolam aerobik primer adalah 11,04%; 22,20% dan 5,06%. 2 Penambahan NaOH pada limbah LCPKS menghasilkan persentase penurunan persentase, penurunan kadar minyak, nilai BOD dan COD lebih besar dibandingkan dengan penambahan Ca(OH)2.
