dc.description.abstract | MUHAMMAD YUSUF. N, 2015. Yield and Quality of Sweet Corn (Zea mays saccharata Sturt) with Chicken Manure and Potassium. Supervised by Prof. Dr. Ir. Rosmayati, MS and Dr. Ir. Chairani Hanum, MP. 3,5% Indonesian people make sweet corn as a staple food or side food, the yield and quality issues have become important factors to be considered and achieved. The purpose of this research was to study effect of chicken manure and potassium and their interactions on the growth, yield and quality of sweet corn. This study used a Randomized Block Design ( RAK ) factorial consisting of two factors, the application of chicken manure (A) as the first factor which were A0 (0 Kg/ha), A1 (10 Kg/ha), A2 (15 Kg/ha) dan A3 (20 Kg/ha). Aplication potassium fertilizer (K) as the second factor which were K0 (0 Kg K2O/ha), K1 (90 Kg K2O/ha),K2 (120 Kg K2O/ha) and K3 (150 Kg K2O/ha). The result showed a significant increased in the growth of sweet corn in the treatment of chicken manure 20 tons/ha and potassium 90 Kg K2O/ha on the parameters of relative growth rate with the highest value respectively 0,68 mg.cm2.hari-1. On the parameters of net assimilation rate, the treatment of chicken manure 10 tons/ha and potassium 120 Kg K2O/ha with the highest value respectively 0,0220 mg.cm2.hari-1. | en_US |
