Isolasi dan Analisis Komponen Kimia Minyak Atsiri dari Daun Sembung ( Blumea Balsamifera ) di Daerah Sunggal Kotamadya Medan dengan GC-MS dan Uji Anti Bakteri

Abstract

This research was conducted with the scale of Laboratory. The object of this research was fres roots of Sembung. The treatment done was isolate the essential oil of the Sembung trought steam distillation and then it is chemical components were analyzed throught Mass Spectrometry – Gas Cromotography. The result of gas Cromatography showed 23 apeas meaning that the essential oil of sembung contained 23 chemical components. The result of Mass Spectrometry only showed 7 out of the 23 chemical components analyzed (identified). The 7 chemical components of essential oil were : Linalool ( 2,11 %), Trans-β- Ocemene (2,49 %), Kamper (15,91 %), Borneol ( 34,78 %), 2H-3,4a-Ethanonaptalen (2,32 %), Aromadendalal (5,01 %), Trans-Caryophule (15,29 %).

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan skala Laboratorium. Sebagai obyek (bahan) dalam penelitian ini adalah Daun Sembung (Blumea Balsamifera). Perlakuan yang diperlakukan yaitu mengisolasi minyak atrisi Daun Sembung dengan destilasi uap dan dianlisis komponen kimianya dengan Kromotografi Gas – Spektrometri Massa. Hasil Kromatografi Gas menunjukkan adanya 23 puncak yang berarti terdapat 23 komponen kimia dalam minyak atsiri daun sembung. Dengan Spektrometri Massa hanya 7 komponen dari 23 komponen yang dianalisis (identifikasi) berdasarkan data spektrum yang ada. Berikut ini 7 komponen kimia minyak atsiri yang terkandung dalam daun sembung yaitu : Linalool ( 2,11 %), Trans-β- Ocemene (2,49 %), Kamper (15,91 %), Borneol ( 34,78 %), 2H-3,4a-Ethanonaptalen (2,32 %), Aromadendalal (5,01 %), Trans-Caryophule (15,29 %).
