The title of this research is Gender stereotyping in parable form (perumpamaan) Toba Batak language. This study aims to describe the form, meaning and value of local wisdom contained in the parable through Antropolinguistik approach. The main problem of this research is how gender stereotypes in the form of parables of Toba Batak language. The main problem is divided into subproblems as follows: (1) What forms of Batak Toba indicating the gender stereotypes associated with the social and cultural Batak through Antropolinguistics approach. The main problem is divided into subproblems as follows: (1) What forms of Batak Toba indicating the gender stereotypes associated with the social and cultural Batak through antropolinguistics approach? (2) How does the meaning contained in the parable of Batak based on gender stereotypes in terms of antropolinguistics approach using the principles of Dalihan Patrineal Na tolu? (3) How the value and the local wisdom in the parable of Batak which contain gender stereotypes?
Data obtained by recording several informants Traditional Batak Toba. Techniques of data collection this study was principally qualitative research that includes participant observation, interviews, document analysis and research property records at the time of the study. In other words, the descriptions are based on the data and then proceed in the analysis based on data. Data collected from the various data, collection methods were analyzed using analysis procedures, namely: (1) data reduction, (2) clarification of data, (3) categorization, (4) display data, (5) a description of the data, (6) interpretation, and (7) drawing conclusions. All data is based on antropolinguistik analysis who view language as a prism of the concept of cultural anthropology and its main objective to find meaning behind the use of language. The research was conducted in Pematangsiantar, North Sumatra. Once data is collected, categorized and described later in the analysis of data through interpretation.
Based on the analysis of data on Gender Stereotypes Form of the Parable of the Toba Batak society indicates that a system of patrineal (embracing her father's lineage), son as successor to the clan / lineage in the family. Therefore, the Batak boy called tampuk ni pusu-pusu. In some aspects of community life happens Batak show that gender stereotyping is found to be obtained through a parable. Principle Dalihan Na Tolu on Batak society is upheld by the mission 3 H Hagabeon, Hasangapon, and Hamoraon.
