Penentuan Kadar Gas Nitrogen Dioksida (NO2) Menggunakan Sensor Gas Semikonduktor TGS 2201

Abstract

The increasing of gas NO2 concentration in the air , a parameter of air pollution, as an effect of vehicle traffic density and industry needs more attention because it is very dangerous to people health, even it can cause death. In order to know the degree of NO2 immediately, used sensor gas semiconductor 2201 invented by Figaro, in order to process ADC and take data, used microcontroler AT Mega 8535, and then data processing in computer program. This research was done by veriating the consentration of gas NO2 and writing the result of tension of sensor output determine the consentration of gas NO2 using the program in order to product direct output in digital number. The given variation of concentration NO2 shows that the higher is concentration gas NO2 ,the lower is the value of tension of sensor output . Concentration of gas NO2 is determined by using gas sensor semiconductor TGS 2201

Meningkatnya konsentrasi gas NO2 diudara yang merupakan parameter pencemaran udara sebagai dampak kepadatan lalulintas kendaraan bermotor dan industri perlu diperhatikankarena cukup bebahaya bagi kesehatan manusia dan dapat mengakibatkan kematian. Untuk mengetahui kadar NO2 dengan cepat digunakan sensor gas semikonduktor TGS 2201 keluaran Figaro, untuk proses ADC dan untuk pengambilan data digunakan mikrokontroler jenis AT Mega 8535, selanjutnya pengolahan data dilakukan dengan program pada computer. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mempariasikan konsentrasi gas NO2 dan mencatat hasil tegangan keluaran sensor. untuk menentukan konsentrasi gas NO2 melalui program menghasilkan keluaran langsung dengan angka digital. Dari variasi konsentrasi gas NO2 yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa dengan semakin meningkat konsentrasi gas NO2 harga tegangan keluaran sensor semakin rendah. Konsentrasi gas NO2 dapat ditentukan dengan sensor gas semikonduktor TGS 2201.
