dc.description.abstractThe background of this study reduced performance of teachers in the Education Foundation X in the school year 2012/2013. Therefore it is necessary to study the things that affect performance, so do efforts to develop appropriate performance with the teacher. This study aimed to determine the effect of ability and motivation to the Teacher Performance in Education Foundation X. The data were obtained through the scale's ability based on the theory Sutermeister (in Suprianto, 2011), and Motivation scale based on the theory Arep & Tanjung (2003). While the teacher performance data obtained from the performance of teachers conducted by the school superintendent in accordance with Permendikbud No. 65 of 2013. The collected data is processed by multiple regression analysis method. The research concludes that there is no influence on the performance capabilities of teachers in the Education Foundation X. There is no motivation influence on the performance of teachers in the Education Foundation X. Simultaneously Variable Capability (X1), and motivation (X2) has no effect on teacher performance. Thus the need for additional research to determine the variables that affect the performance of teachers in addition to the variable ability and motivation variables so as to obtain other information, related to efforts to improve teacher performance. So the assessment of performance, ability and motivation of teachers shows the result is not optimal, then the Education Foundation X needs to work on improving performance, ability and motivation of teachers.en_US
dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini dilatar belakangi menurunnya kinerja guru-guru di Yayasan Pendidikan X pada tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Oleh sebab itu perlu diteliti hal-hal yang mempengaruhi kinerja, agar dapat dilakukan upaya-upaya pengembangan kinerja guru dengan tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Kemampuan dan Motivasi terhadap Kinerja Guru di Yayasan Pendidikan X. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui skala Kemampuan berdasarkan teori Sutermeister (dalam Suprianto, 2011), dan skala Motivasi berdasarkan teori Arep & Tanjung (2003). Sedangkan data kinerja guru diperoleh dari kinerja guru yang dilakukan oleh pengawas sekolah sesuai dengan Permendikbud Nomor 65 Tahun 2013. Data yang telah terkumpul diolah dengan metode analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh kemampuan terhadap kinerja guru di Yayasan Pendidikan X. Tidak terdapat pengaruh motivasi terhadap kinerja guru di Yayasan Pendidikan X. Secara Simultan Variabel Kemampuan (X1), dan Motivasi (X2) tidak berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja Guru. Dengan demikian perlu penelitian lanjut untuk mengetahui variabel yang mempengaruhi kinerja guru selain variabel kemampuan dan variabel motivasi sehingga dapat memperoleh informasi lain, terkait upaya peningkatan kinerja guru. Karena penilaian kinerja, kemampuan maupun motivasi guru memperlihatkan hasil yang belum optimal, maka pihak Yayasan Pendidikan X perlu mengupayakan peningkatan kinerja, kemampuan dan motivasi guru.en_US
