Analisis Konflik Batin Antar Tokoh dalam Novel The Stolen Years Karya Ba Yue Chang An : Pendekatan Psikologi Sastra

Abstract

This research entitled "Analysis of Inner Conflict between People in the Novel The Stolen Years of Ba Yue Chang An: Literary Psychology Approach". The problem formulation of this research are: (1) The inner interpersonal conflict is depicted in The Stolen Years novel? (2) The inner conflicts are resolved in The Stolen Years novel ?. The theory used in this research is the theory of literary psychology and conflict theory. The research method used qualitative descriptive method. The results of this study are the inner conflicts experienced by the characters Xie Yu and He Man that happened to cause them divorced. Their inner conflicts occur because of the conflict between choice that is not in accordance with the wishes, the doubt in the face of problems, and expectations are not in accordance with reality. He Man and Xie Yu resolve their inner conflicts by withdrawing, contending and problem solving.

Penelitian ini berjudul “Analisis Konflik Batin Antar Tokoh Dalam Novel The Stolen Years Karya Ba Yue Chang An: Pendekatan Psikologi Sastra”. Rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Konflik batin antar tokoh digambarkan dalam novel The Stolen Years? (2) Konflik batin yang terjadi diselesaikan dalam novel The Stolen Years?. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori psikologi sastra dan teori konflik. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah konflik batin yang dialami tokoh Xie Yu dan He Man yang terjadi menyebabkan mereka bercerai. Konflik batin mereka terjadi karena pertentangan antara pilihan yang tidak sesuai dengan keinginan, kebimbangan dalam menghadapi permasalahan, dan harapan tidak sesuai dengan kenyataan. He Man dan Xie Yu menyelesaikan konflik batin mereka dengan cara withdrawing, contending dan problem solving.
