A Study of Passive Voice in Rainbow Rowell’s Novel Eleanor and Park

Abstract

The paper entitled : A Study of Passive Voice in Rainbow Rowell’s Novel Eleanor and Park discusses about the passive voice pattern in tenses. The purpose of this research is to find the pattern of passive voice sentence in tenses and to find the classification of passive voice sentence. This research is done by sampling method. The data collected comes from a sentence containing the passive voice pattern in the tenses taken from the sample chapter.

Kertas karya yang berjudul: A Study of Passive Voice in Rainbow Rowell’s Novel Eleanor and Park membahas tentang pola kalimat passive voice dalam tenses. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan pola kalimat passive voice dalam tenses serta menemukan klasifikasi dari kalimat passive voice. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode pengambilan sampel. Data yang dikumpulkan berasal dari kalimat yang berisi pola passive voice dalam tenses yang diambil dari bab yang menjadi sampel.
