Globalisasi Penawaran dan Produksi Crude Palm Oil (CPO) di Sumatera Utara

Abstract

The purpose of this study are : (1) To analyze the effect of domestic selling prices, the real wages and the interest rates on CPO domestic supply in North Sumatra, (2) To analyze the effect of the export selling prices, the domestic selling prices and the exchange rates on CPO export supply in North Sumatra, (3) To analyze the effect of export selling prices,the total productions and the exchange rates on CPO domestic selling price in North Sumatra.Types of data used are time series data , which started from 1985 to 2010 were sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of North Sumatra, Department of Agriculture of North Sumatra, Department of Trade and Industry of North Sumatra, and other agencies required and and other publications, namely journals and researches results.The findings of this study are: (a) the domestic selling prices, the real wages and the interest rate simultaneously have a significant impact on CPO domestic supply in North Sumatra with a coefficient of determination at 70.3%, (b) the export selling prices, domestic selling prices and exchange rates simultaneously have a significant impact on CPO export supply in North Sumatra and can explain the variation in export supply at 87.5%, (c) the export selling prices, the total productions and the exchange rates simultaneously have a significant effect on CPO domestic selling prices in North Sumatra and can explain the variation in CPO domestic selling price in North Sumatra at 77.1%.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah : (1) Untuk menganalisis pengaruh harga jual domestik, upah riil dan tingkat bunga pinjaman terhadap penawaran domestik CPO Sumatera Utara; (2) Untuk menganalisis pengaruh harga jual ekspor, harga jual domestik dan kurs terhadap penawaran ekspor CPO di Sumatera Utara; (3) Untuk menganalisis pengaruh harga jual ekspor, total produksi dan kurs terhadap harga jual domestik CPO Sumatera Utara.Jenis dan sumber data yang digunakan adalah data runtun waktu (time series) yang dimulai dari tahun 1985 sampai tahun 2010 yang bersumber dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Sumatera Utara, Dinas Perkebunan Sumatera Utara, Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Sumatera Utara, dan instansi lain yang diperlukan serta terbitan atau publikasi lainnya, yaitu jurnal-jurnal dan hasil penelitian.Temuan penelitian ini adalah : (a) Harga jual domestik, upah riil, dan dan tingkat bunga pinjaman secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penawaran domestik CPO Sumatera Utara dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 70,3%; (b) Harga jual ekspor, harga jual domestik dan kurs secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penawaran ekspor CPO Sumatera Utara dan mampu menjelaskan variasi penawaran ekspor sebesar 87,5%; (c) Harga jual ekspor, total produksi dan nilai kurs secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap harga jual domestik CPO Sumatera Utara dan mampu menjelaskan variasi harga jual domestik CPO Sumatera Utara sebesar 77,1%.
