Golden Proportion Tinggi Wajah Anterior Bawah Suku Batak dari Berbagai Pola Pertumbuhan Wajah Skeletal Klas I di RSGMP FKG USU 2012

Abstract

Introduction: The objective of the research was to find out wether the proportion of the lower anterior facial height of Batak ethnic group, with various pattern of growth , had an ideal proportion as it can be seen in Ricketts’research in 1987 which had golden proportion value ( 1:1.618) Method : The data consisted of 45 lateral cephalometric photos of Bataknesse students The Faculty of Dentistry and Bataknesse students Faculty of Engineering , University of Sumatera Utara ,and Bataknese patient who were treated in the Orthodontic clinic, faculty of dentistry in period of 2008-2011 . They were analyzed by using cross sectional analytic survey design and processed by using an SPSS version 17 software program Result : The lower anterior facial proportion of normal ( 1.658 , p<0.05) and vertical ( 1.628 , p< 0.05) growth pattern of Batak ethnic group is not significantly different from golden proportion value Conclusion : The lower anterior facial proportion of Batak ethnic group in pattern of normal and horizontal growth has ideal facial proportion according to golden proportion.

Pendahuluan: Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah proporsi tinggi wajah anterior bawah suku Batak dari berbagai pola pertumbuhan wajah sesuai dengan proporsi ideal seperti pada penelitian Ricketts tahun 1987 yang memiliki nilai golden proportion (1 :1.618) Metode : Sampel diambil dari 45 foto sefalometri lateral mahasiswa FKG , mahasiswa Teknik suku Batak USU dan pasien klinik spesialis ortodonti RSGMP USU tahun 2008-2011. Sampel dianalisa menggunakan survey deskriptif analitik dan diproses dengan program SPSS versi 17 Hasil: Proporsi wajah anterior bawah suku Batak dengan pola pertumbuhan normal (1.658 , p<0.05) dan horizontal (1.628, p<0.05) tidak berbeda secara signifikan dengan nilai golden proportion Kesimpulan: Proporsi tinggi wajah anterior bawah suku Batak dengan pola pertumbuhan normal dan horizontal memiliki proporsi wajah ideal menurut golden proportion.
